He has to change a lot. He's 37. Doubtful he can at this point. If a mummy like Zhang can do that to him, it's scary to think what Fury would do.

You got a 6 round fighter against a guy who could probably go 15. If Joyce does nothing for the first 6 rounds but throw an occasional punch and keep stepping away from the Zhang left hand, I like his chances.

Anything but stand still in front of a man who's left is faster and straighter than his own right.

Ry92... where are you getting these numbers man? No ones paying Joyce £5m to step aside don’t be ridiculous. No ones paying Joyce £2m to fight Breazele or chisora. And certainly no one is paying him £15m to fight fury.

I have a feeling Joyce activated the rematch clause once he found out Fury planned to fight him. Zhang losing to Fury would diminish Zhang's "skill" and make his loss look worse. Not to mention the rematch would lose some appeal.

If I were Joyce I would take the immediate step aside that way get 2 a nice check with a title shot for the Zhang rematch is no guarantee nor won't be easy another loss or draw would deter any title shot ever again. This way you can get 5m to do none, still get your title shot, practice vs someone like Hughie fury or hell call on chisora or Dominic breazele collect another 2-5m In the process, with practice, then get 5-15m in a title fight stay away from anyone top 5 Until you get your title shot

Whats wrong with you people? As soon as Joyce heard Fury was after Zhang he saw step aside dollar signs. That way he can get paid and not look like he ducked the rematch. Free cash and saved from another face smashing....smart move.

Take the step aside shh Go beat a bum get a little confidence back and an extra check then cash out and lose to the champ cause your not beating the top 3. If it was up to me Joyce would be fighting hrgovic or Frank Sanchez clearing out all these contenders to see who really is 5-10
