when beterbiev calls you out for a fight in june, and you go silent for months like bivol has, it becomes clear that bivol will do whatever it takes to be in the canelo show again

he didnt want to fight artur, so now you do what canelo wants. simple as thatComment

 That’s the narrative now.
Another money first troll completely missing the point.

For someone who posts so much with such a big opinion you obviously know nothing about Bivol who for year's has said he can make 168.
This isn't hating on Canelo but Canelo at 175 has nothing to loose. Canelo at 168 is a bigger fight for both of them, it has meaning, undesputed SM but undesputed at 175 against Beterbiev in boxing terms is an even bigger fight for Bivol.

A few months back all the Canelo haters were saying that he better not ask for the rematch at 168 and try to drain Bivol.Comment

Except for one thing. Bivol-Beterbiev is never happening. Artur is looking for cash as he nears 40. Big cash. Bivol is his biggest challenge, but is not a big cash fight.

At 168, tie 168 and 175 belts would've on the line. Think Leonard-Lalonde.
Beterbiev for undisputed at 175 is the best fight for Bivol by a mile, but the implication is that it's not available. Nor is 168 vs Canelo, by implication.

It is clear that Canelo doesn't want to risk the loss at 168 because a loss to Bivol at that limit is more damaging to his rep than a loss at 175 which can always be brushed off as not being his real weight class. Bivol obviously would prefer 168 as he risks no belt and stand to gain 4 belts and super kudos.

 I think maybe the fight won't happen.Comment

It's a money fight for Bivol. Perhaps, another loss for Canelo. He couldn't put Ryder down - his only actual chance agaist Bivol is to KO him, which after watching Canelo against Ryder and GGG, isn't going to happen. Canelo has peaked & plateaued - he is beginning a slow decline. Hand speed is still intact, as is defense and footwork - but, he begins to gas out and throws less combinations. Dan Gable, one of the greatest athletes, indicated, at age 32, he no longer had the stamina, though thru discipline and sheer will he could make it thru, but prior to that it was no problem, it arose with age. Though the likes of Mayweather, Pacman and others have fine-honed the use of PEDs for training to offset a dwindling stamina. This would be the year to fight Benavidez and put that to rest. Bivol might end Canelo's career or at least shorten it.Comment

I like the sport of boxing as a whole, I'm not like you, just holding certain boxers jocks on every thread. I speak on the people that are relevant to the discussion, unlike you, who pops up in every thread worshipping Crawford and Cinnabon, and trying to bash Spence and Charlo, which has absolutely nothing to do with anything people are talking about. Get some help, or better yet go fxck something besides your hand.Comment

why isn’t he fighting David or Andrade or morrel
