So now Canelo is openly admitting that his cherry pick scrub he fought is lucky to even last the 12 to consider it a victory.... why not fight a more competitive match up Canelo

This was a tuneup after a surgery. Yet also a mando, which by definition can’t be a cherry pick I don’t think.

A 40 year old Gennady Golovkin had enough power and finishing instincts to get rid of a solid chinned Murata. Canelo on the other hand goes the distance with a fighter who suffered 5 previous career defeats and took enough significant shots to warrant the need for sunglasses at the post fight presser...

I bet Ryder would give benavidez morrell and charlo enough problems to keep em busy for 12 rds and nobody would say they washed/done in boxing

Exactly. Haters will always hate and bash Canelo, it's so pathetic.

Perhaps Ryder has more heart or can take a punch better than Murata?

Ryder really improved quite a lot in the last few years. He's a guy who would now beat most of the guys he lost to.

And I don't see the Callum Smith fight as won he lost, but won.

lack of class from canelo, when you pick an opponent who is out of their depth dont mock them for 'trying to not get ko'd'... wasnt too long you were trying to survive against bivol leaning against them ropes eating shots like they were tacos...

Better story would be to that in his prime SMW Ryder barely stumbled his way to the 12th round, going down once. 6 months earlier, 40+ year old Golovkin started slowly, but outlanded Canelo in the championship rounds, getting majority of the rounds on all 3 scorecards.

There are levels in boxing for a reason.
