Having a gun isn’t the problem in Cali. Having a CONCEALED gun that’s LOADED is.

That is only partly true. If a citizen has a valid California concealed weapons license then they are authorized to carry a concealed handgun that is loaded in a motor vehicle.

If not then as you so accurately stated; The handguns and weapons must be unloaded and locked in a case during transport or while they are driving.

Damn got him w/ the old tint to dark BS ..Weed is legal there though so why would that constitute a reason to search ?.Cali is a sht hole for gun owners though should have known better.Example I live in FL my concealed carry permit is recognized by 30 states sht you have to know as a gun owner.

No one said he couldn't. But there are laws everyone must follow, and they vary from state to state. YOU are responsible for knowing them and for checking what the law is when you travel from state to state. Ignorance is never a good defence.

And idiots who illegally tint their cars play right into that don't they? Give the police just the reason they need to pull them over and see what else they can (and usually do) find. When you're driving around in a wrapped Rolls Royce on 26 in rims with gold plating and limo tinted windows all around you're not exactly looking to go unnoticed. Why you'd want to do that when you're a celebrity and can't go anywhere as it is is beyond me. I used to work for one of the richest people on the planet (as in 45-60 billion depending on the stock price) and they drove around NYC is a used 7 Series for that very reason.
