He is in the most ******* state in the US and they are stopping his car for tinted windows and an obscure plate, and then smell weed and search. Something is not jiving here.

The tinted window thing is LEGIT. They will literally pull out a light meter and test light passthrough and if it doesn't pass, they'll ticket yo ass (that rhymes). It's even more a problem if you do 35 on the fronts because the glaze on windows automatically drops you beneath the light threshold.

It's an excuse to pull people over, that's all. The weapon just gave them more to throw at him.

I remember when I was in my 20s I got pulled over at a stop, cop was like, "your tint is dark, why do you have it this dark?" and I said, "because it's hot". He let me off - I only had 35's, he was just F'ng with me. That's how they do out there.

Yet in sunny Nevada, you'll NEVER get pulled over for tint unless you're rocking limo tint. There are people with out-of-date plates, never get pulled over.

Weed is legal, but if they pull you over and smell excessive weed smoke, they assume something else and go probing for evidence of a crime.

You cannot possess a concealed weapon unless you are licensed to do so.

It used to be, though the laws may have changed, that if you had a gun hidden in your car, you would put it on the passenger seat in plain sight. Keep your hands on the wheel and tell the cop when he comes to your window.

I don't know how US gum laws work. Would it be ok to carry a gun in your car if you have it in plain sight?

Weed is legal, but I imagine too much and it can be considered a DUI?
Walking under the influence can be dangerous but when driving under any influence that can de deadly.

Damn got him w/ the old tint to dark BS ..Weed is legal there though so why would that constitute a reason to search ?.Cali is a sht hole for gun owners though should have known better.Example I live in FL my concealed carry permit is recognized by 30 states sht you have to know as a gun owner.

You can't smoke and drive it impairs your thought patterns which will affect your ability to drive. I know in the jurisdiction where I live you can't have weed within reach of the driver(nor alcohol).
