He hasn't proven anything or fought anyone. He has one fight at 135 vs the biggest punchbag I've seen in a long time and we have people acting like he beats Tank, Loma, Haney. Based on what? Your eye test and emotions?
He hasn't even got a strap and you have these ****** organisations and the likes of Boxrec having him #1 above Haney and Tank, absolute ridiculous.

Frank Martin looks a decent prospect also and has a better win at the weight, where is his hype?

Let him fight a Pitbull or even a Rollie, Ortiz would be big step ups. Have him fight those guys and then maybe I'd at least see where the hype was coming from.

Its an insult to Prograis, Taylor, Zepeda and these guys who have earned their stripes, fought and beat real mother****ers at 140. Now we are picking a guy who has only just moved up into the division below and only fought once there at that vs a scrub over them?

Could he compete? I'd imagine so. Would I favour him? Absolutely not at this stage. There are countless guys who do and would look good fighting at that level.
Either way its pure baseless speculation really in my eyes until he fights somebody and we see him pushed & have to take shots, adjust & go through some sort of adversity.

Fans aren't impressed by Haney and Tanks resumes which is fair I've even heard the odd person pick apart Lomachenkos resume but all of them have 6-8+ names on their records that are at least a level or two above what Shakur has fought at and they've beaten them handily.

Valdez, Conceicao and Yoshino are solid guys.

Valdez is world level (although not elite) and significantly better than Rollie.

The fights weren’t competitive.

He’s ‘super elite’ and hopefully he’ll prove that over his next few fights but as this is boxing it wouldn’t surprise me if he doesn’t fight any of the top guys either.
