and Floyd will have to beat Cotto to retain order in the ranks.
PLUS, Cotto is a WW and so is Floyd so IF Floyd dont fight
Cotto, then regardless on how I feel about Floyd, I will have
to say he ducked Cotto BUT I doubt it because Im not even
Floyd and I know Floyd is superior than Cotto in everyway
except power BUt we already witnessed how fast a fighters
power and aggression can be neutralized with technical boxing
    skill (Klitscho/Arreola). When/IF Floyd/Cotto happens, Floyd
beats him but what a fight it should be. Them two are destined
    to meet in the ring.
He'd go after Cotto instead of Mosley because he knows Mosley would keep the pressure on him and not quit like Cotto might.

But this is the problem. He can't win, you get guys bitching about he should fight a legit 147 fighter etc. The moment he does fight one, everyone will still ***** saying "he should of fought a different one, he took an easy route" etc.

Not from me. I don't mind if he fight Cotto/Pac winner, Mosley or anyone else in the top 5.

I think it would be great to see.

Man, you get dumber each post. Cotto "quit" because he kept getting hit, you honestly think Mayweather is going to put that kind of pressure on Cotto when he couldn't even do it against JMM? Floyd/Cotto I don't think will ever happen, ever, and its not going to be for Arums lack of trying either.

Before Floyd retired was Manny even being considered as an opponent for Floyd? In fact, Floyd once said when it was brought up that Manny was a "good little fighter but he is too small to face me". Now all of a sudden he isnt?
I think that the difference is manny is treated like a god for scraping out wins against these three guys and would retire with no accountability while mayweather caught and still catches hell for it and that he was taller had better reach **** is BS barring the marquez fight and maybe hatton but thats suspect because hattons fought at 140 his entire career and floyd started at 130 floyd has fought bigger stronger guys from a myriad of boxing styles and physical talent levels. You can't say the same for manny. I've been following floyd career for a minute and I have never before the marquez fight seen floyd have trouble making a weight and have rarely seen him go up more than 3-5 lbs. on fight night because he's always fought at his comfortable weight he hasn't weighed in one thing on weigh-in and then blew up like most fighters do including what manny's done for the better part of his career. I also that ppl tend to exaggerate how small manny is by saying he began his career at 108 or 106 but that was at the age of 16 c'mon I've gone up to 160 from about 135 since I was 15 or 16 and I'm 21. Manny is a light welterweight that is very comfortable at WW so yall can lose the small manny excuse if he loses to cotto i don't want to hear that ****. and furthermore if the mayweather fight happens and floyd gets in that ass i don't want to hear that excuse. I like manny but yall need to relax wit that. BTW I would love to see manny-may or cotto-may or may-mosely it doesn't really matter to me. I think cotto-may would be the least exciting though.

Yeah, I won't give Floyd any credit if he goes after Cotto now. So what? Both of these jokers avoided each other at the same time. Neither one of them wanted to fight each other at the time when it was the fight to be made. And if what Beater of Ass is saying is true about the plaster being in Margarito's wraps, why should I give Floyd any credit for fighting a guy who was supposedly ruined by plaster of paris? Mosley destroyed Margarito because he is a better fighter than Cotto, period. He came in with the right game plan and stood his ground unlike Cotto did. I also think he beat Cotto when they fought even though it was close. If that fight had happened outside of MSG we may have seen the first loss on Cotto's record.

Thats been a big factor in the past why don't you think it will be now? Plus Arum already spoke his mind on how he feels about his fighters fighting against floyd. Did you see the interview at yankee stadium on fanhouse?

To prove he is #1, Pacquiao would have to beat Mayweather. Wins over Diaz/Delahoya/Hatton are not ATG-ish. And Roach himself has said that Cotto is weathered.
Many people restored Floyd but most has Pac still #1

Pac don't have to beat Floyd to prove he is #1.

Wins over Diaz/DLH/Hatton alone are not ATG-ish. But adding 6 titles in 6 divisions and wins over Mexican HOFs are ATG-ish

How many people have tried to pressure Floyd and were unsuccessful?
Mosley would get exposed as a 38 year old fighter against Floyd. Hopkins
and Mosley looked good against Pavlik and Margarito because them guys
are slow one dimensional fighters. Mosley loses to Floyd and Ill bet on
                    that when the time comes.
