Yes, he was writhing in pain and made the decision to get up. Ryan could have gotten up but called it a day. It is what it is.

I literally thought it was over when Khan landed that shot. Chino was one tough SOB though.

That fight made me a huge Khan fan too- I was a big doubter of his after the Prescott loss and he really came through the storm in those later rounds.

it didn't look like the normal debilitating liver shot to me, which is around the side - he got hit flush on the ribs

Bodyshots is what separates the men from the boys. There is not much pain with head shots, and Ryan has a decent chin. But when the shooting pain of a bodyshot introduced itself to Ryan, he didn’t like it at all. But he most definitely could’ve physically carried on. It didn’t paralyze him, the guy did a lot of dancing and even got himself some space before going down, for a moment he thought davis was going to swing on him while he was down and he could still pull his body upright, while a good bodyshot forces you to a curl.

He simply succumbed to pain. The draining likely made his body more sensitive also. That punch was basically a jab. Drained guys always fold easily from small shots like that. Just gotta hit;em right.

Does Gatti stay down from that body shot?

                  Does Castillo?

                  Does Corrales?

Garcia didn’t want to go out on his shield last night. That’s fine but let’s call it for it what it was.
GGG vs. Macklin. The difference: Macklin writhing in pain after getting two ribs broken.

Stop with the weight drained. Ryan didn’t belong in the same building as tank
