Nobody knows how hurt Garcia was, so whether he could have gotten up or not is just speculation. The delayed reaction he had is a sign of a classic liver shot and, if that was the case, you just can't will your body to recover, because the effects of a liver shot (breathlessness, drop in blood pressure etc) are automatic reactions , beyond our control.

Everyone gets on Ryan.... "He shoulda done this, he coulda did that", etc. Meanwhile, none of y'all have ever been on the end of Tank's punches. It's easy to call Ryan a quitter when you've never been hit that hard before. You would all quit as soon as Tank hit you with one decent shot. You would scream out loud, "OHHHH SH.T, MY EYE, u GOT IT MAN", then y'all would suck ur thumbs and start crying hard with snot coming out of ur noses

True but we’ve all watched boxing long enough to have an educated eye regarding these things. Most fighters are still wincing in pain when the fight over crouched over from a vicious body shot. Ryan was immediately up like nothing when the danger was over and the contest was halted. His body language indicated he could’ve continued but chose not to, that’s ok it’s his life but be prepared to wear the sinful quitter jacket now.

I Don’t think Tank could reach my eye as he is 5ft 5 , plus I fight as Heavyweight. Snot always flies out of my nose when I’m hit with a good shot whilst Sparring. Those liver shots are lethal though

Tank has stopped heavyweights in the gym b4. In all likelihood, if you aren't a top level guy, he could stop you too

Garcias reaction however is probably what’s getting him a lot of negative reactions, I guess he didn’t really show urgency afterwards or a more of an attempt to continue based on he looked alright when he stood back up ?
