They're as dry as they can be for the official weigh in, although allegedly Ryan had breakfast before his weigh in yesterday. But yeah, someone of Ryan's frame can probably gain 8-10lbs of water weight alone. Remember he's probably eating more carbs now and that will help with water retention.

Protein + hydration. It's not that hard when you're young and on a controlled diet with workout.

Fans deserves a fight that doesn't just look like a classic on paper.....but one that actually plays out like a classic when Tank and Garcia gets in the ring.

they need to get rid of this friday weigh-in nonsense and move everyone up a division. i feel like we would get much better fights if these guys aren't killing themselves to make a weight that they won't be anywhere near by the time they get in the ring. i would think they'll both be above 147 by the time the bell rings.

Rehydration obviously wasn't an issue for either fighter. So no excuses regardless of who wins.

Yes. They are that much dehydrated. Some dehydrates to a dangerous level.

The only way to gain 10-15 lbs (or more) in 24 hours is to use IV’s. That’s the only way. Ethical or not.

You cannot conclude that at all.

Yes I can and I did. So did Garcia's father and Ryan himself. It's clear that making 146 wasn't a problem for them. That's good enough for me.
