Just because he made it doesn't necessarily mean he made it well.

Look at De La Hoya v Pac. He made the weight but he was a dead man walking at that weight

Still as you say, Garcia is young, should be OK.

Still sick of all these clauses though, it'd be nice to have more big fights without an asterisk next to it because one is making the other jump through hoops with rehydration clauses and stuff.

Oh I see. You’d expect Ryan and his father to say that they had a very tough time if they actually did? Are you new to boxing?

I guess you’d also expect them to reveal an injury before the fight as well….

That is more than a day's pay for alot of boxing fans, this isnt tennis.
85 is peanuts... If that is more than a days pay for some ppl then they really need look in the mirror. That's 2 hours and a half of work for me

What I'm saying is once the fight is signed excuses are meaningless. If Ryan or his father are not crying about the weight and making excuses then you shouldn't either. I'm pretty sure they know how his body functions much better than you do. I didn't like the clauses but what's done is done. They signed up for it so It's too late for excuses about weight. It's fight time now. I don't buy injury excuses after a fight so I don't care about that either. If a fighter goes into a fight injured that's their problem. Cancelling or postponing is an option.

This is a disgrace Ryan at 144 is no way healthy for him when he's the bigger guy. Smh he now weighs the same as someone who's way shorter than him tells you all you gotta know about what state he will be in come fight time.

**** Tank and his bitxh ass team for NOT wanting to face a healthy Ryan.

Biggest bitxh move I've seen in boxing .

Why do you root for a guy who beats women, fan base consist of smash n grab goons? Do you approve of that behavior? RYAN hasn't done non of the shady **** Tank and his goons have so why dislike him.

Not true, you understand 4 ltrs of water is around 10 pounds, there is an old saying that's been in fighting circles for drying out for a 100 years it was printed in a Police Gazette I have that's 1920 era, an ounce in a chicken a pound in a dog a stone in a man, they used to manipulate salt intake which either packs water into the cells or repels water in the cells depending on sodium, when you dry out by withholding fluids the body is like a sponge when you put it back. The only time you need IV is when your system is not rehydrating naturally this can happen from being too dry or your electrolyte balance is upset like your shedding potassium. to gain this amount of weight using only IV fluids would mean up to 8 bags of Hartmans solution IV , that's not going to happen that's like 8 hrs of IV fluids, maybe if youre on life support with no blood but not a fighter manipulating fluid weight.

Years ago I was working on a site and this day was 105 degrees with high humidity it was oppressive and very hard work, I drank 10 litres of water and electrolytes that day and never pissed, that's 20 pounds of water that went in.

Nah, if Garcia eats too much it would be detrimental. He's already fully hydrated. If he consumes too much food he'll end up crapping his pants like Six Heads Lewis did. There's less than 9 hours of time to eat before the fight starts...Keep in mind that neither fighter will be eating anything substantial within 3 hours of the fight. Maybe a tiny carb or something. Too much food (and even too much liquid) would be detrimental, not beneficial.

You keep harping BS that you know nothing about, there is still 10 hrs to go he will gain another 4/6 pounds which puts him at his normal fight night weight, I think you are trying to create an excuse you have done nothing but cry about it for days even though you have the 2 weighins being perfect, Ryan and his Father and trainer have been saying his weight is perfect, he looks in great conditions and everything is on track but you just keep on crying your ignorant BS.
