The fights that I'd have liked to see Ward back in the S6 era and after: Ward vs Andre Dirrell should've had to happen in S6 bc Dirrell beat Froch imo but he got robbed, Ward vs Dawson at 175 would've been a far more legit fight than at 168 but it was Dawson's choice.

Also Ward vs Kovalev I was a close fight , maybe a draw. The second one, Ward threw some heavy low blows that made Kovalev collapse.

Anyway, Ward is a great fighter with great mindset and wisdom.

Kov got with a clean body shot the round before and was wilted on the ropes lol. Also got hit with a right hand that made him do the chicken dance. Turned his back to Ward multiple times in the fight.. immediately after the fight there was no complaints from Kov.
There’s actually a compilation out there showing the devastating body shot’s Ward landed on Kov. He was targeting that all night

I'll love the "moment" when they talk about how in hell they stole 2 fights from Kovalev.

Close fight could’ve gone either way.. BoxingScene actually scored that for Ward, their cards are always on point. Second fight Kovalev got demolished his own trainer later said he can’t take body shots.

The first Kovalev fight was close. Kovalev feeling he got robbed sent him into a tailspin and he was never quite the same again.

There was a ton of good bodywork by Ward in their second fight. That was a legit win and not just a result of low blows. But Kovalev was a diminished version of himself for sure.

Anyway, looking forward to this documentary.

Calzaghe is behind the likes of Barrera, Marquez in ATG lists.. never mind guys like Bhop & Roy Jones. His resumè is super weak

Ward wasn't capable of beating Bhop, Jones, toney, Calzaghe was though, he could take it to another level

Ward was completely dormant until the Super 6 and fought dirty as hell.

Dirty?? LOL. If any boxer fought me dirty. He would learn what dirty REALLY WAS. Their are far dirtier boxers out there that no one talks about.
If a boxer meets a dirty fighter and doesn’t retaliate, that tells me he’s a poosie, not a man. You NEVER give an edge to no one.
Ward was FAR from dirty. He was “rough” though.
