"Yes. I wanted to fight Roy Jones before the Tarver fight, but he's having a rocky relationship with HBO, and they didn't feel that the fight was worthy of buying. Still, I would love to redeem myself, if everything is right. I mean Roy can't come to the table like he's Roy Jones of the early-2000s."

nardo is horrific...he admits that jones is shot, but is clearly willing to redeem himself by fighting him....funny thing is, jones did come to the table like the jones of the early 2000's and got the deal he was looking for, which was an even split with a ko clause, without hopkins pimp oscar de la hoya getting the 25% slice off the top...
And you contradict yourself cuz you said several times Hopkins will NEVER fight Jones because he's still scared to this day. So you continue to self own yourself with your hateful obsession w/bhop.

      • I'll say it again for all the detractors. Blame boxing fans if anybody for this one. Bernard was not looking to take on Roy. Even I don't want to see this fight with Roy doing nothing to earn it, but the radio interview with Hopkins that Jones jumped in developed the fan interest to finally get this fight done. Even won a media poll on who fans wanted to see him face over Adamek, Dawson/Johnson winner.

lol....only reason hopkins finally manned up, is because he had to after jones embarrassed him on the radio and in interviews...nardo was trying to convince everybody that fighting adamek and dawson were bigger $ fights, but nobody was listening...

just admit that i'm spot on....i have backup, and i make you look silly on a regular basis...

                  • HAHA - I knew this would happen.

The excuses are flowing in. It's funny how a couple of weeks ago that everyone was saying that Hopkins was scared of Jones.

Now all the excuses start coming in.

Hopkins never wanted to fight Jones until pratically 70% of the Boxing Scene Forum said that Jones would beat him. It's only until Jones started opening his mouth and all you haters did that he's fighting him.

Hopkins likes to prove people wrong, and he's definitely coming in for the knock out no doubt. Hopkins stares in the face of criticism, just rememebered what happened with Pavlik (the majority of boxing viewers said he would be knocked into retirement).

Don't doubt, let's just watch and see what happens.
