Dana White FORCES the best to fight the best every single week while in boxing it takes YEARS for the best to fight. No wonder people see boxing as a dying sport.

It's true that there's a lot of bs and dumb politics in boxing but let's face it. In the rare occasions when the best does face the best in boxing it's way more exciting and anticipated.

Another good thing about the ufc i dont know if anybody has mentioned yet is that when the judges mess up there's way more backlash. From the fans, the media and Dana himself. So it's much more rare and keeps the judges on their toes not to repeat it.

In boxing it's so common people just accept it as normal and move on. Which is total bs.

I mostly agree but I think thats because (as you alluded to) those kinds of fights are not the norm in boxing and tend to get milked for years so if/when they do happen it has more impact. In MMA its relatively common for the fights to just get made without much BS and then its on to the next thing.

        basic common sense and logic.

floyd has a lot of kids with her. floyd has had financial problems throughout his life due to mismanagement of his money and despite alleging to be worth billions,

continues to fight in rigged fights where his opponents are non boxing mma midgets who cant use mma moves.

        real scumbag that floyd is.

You bring up a great point. The judges just kill this sport. Corruption is rampant.

Only a true hater would find a way to criticize Dana/UFC for what they WISH we can have in boxing.

Dana White holds a monopoly over the UFC, he’s more like Vince McMahon than Bob Arum. Boxing has Four major sanctioning bodies, countless promoters and managers who compete with one another. White has no competition or opposition in UFC. He also pays his fighters far less.

Yes it’s pure bull****. There needs to be hybrid-UFC style promotion where too names are FORCED to fight each other in tournament style, but allow for crazy ring walks and for fighters to develop their personas rather than just having it be 100% about the brand. Something like PRIDE fighting championship back in the day in Japan (minus fight fighting lol)

MMA/UFC is so popular in the way professional wrestling is

Those who don't like a sport should not waste time on that message board.
Unless their sport has nothing to chat about.
Speaking of chat boards, notice how dead it is here

                      IMHO
Anything minus kicking and rolling around on a floor > The alternative
No MMA guy would have lasted 5 rds.

As the title SUGGESTS, boxing is dead to some people.
Yet, they keep watching and visiting BOXING message boards
