Yet Tank fought Barrios at the full 140 while Ryan is getting catchweighted and dehydration claused. Why is that?
For the same reason Manny did it so many times , because they are the A side and can, Floyd answered this question when he was asked about Canelos CW, he said it will make the job easier which is why Manny did it, Leonard did it and Bhop did it the list is a mile long of A side guys squeezing B side guys.

Floyd used it to keep zero. Pac used it to prolong career for another 10 years, too many wars can shorten career, so pac more honourable. Pac offered to rematch cotton at 147. Floyd didn't at 154 to Nelo.

Why didn’t Tank squeeze B-side Barrios, though?

Not a big enough fight, this is the biggest fight for both guys a loss here is major and Ryans no walk in the park, that means A side is gunna squeeze B side if he can, Davis could and did.

Ryan’s no walk in the park? That mean Ryan IS better than Barrios then. Contrary to what that other poster was saying.

Because he already tested the water at 140, and he obviously wasn't comfortable with the weight difference of his opponent coming into the ring. Barrios probably outweighed Tank by at least 20 pounds on the night of the fight. Ryan knows this and wants that advantage, along with the height and reach. That seems more cowardly to me than vice versa. If Ryan was truly dead set on 140, then he has a long list to choose from. So, what's the fascination with Tank when he's clearly at 135??? He wants every advantage possible, he's pxssy.

Another poster don't mean anything saying one guy is better or worse that's just an opinion, Ryan probably is better than Barrios I think he is but I wouldn't bet on it until they fought.

Ask yourself why Manny didn't CW every opponent, that's kinda what you are chasing here with Tanks CW, then looking at the CW you also gotta take into account that Ryan was fighting at 130 then up to 135 and then back to 130 then back to 135 with only one fight at 140. I don't think 136 is any drama although it might be we will have to wait and see how Ryan is but they said he was 138 a day ago and his trainer and father said the CW and rehydration clause is no problems at all, so lets see how it goes Im really looking forward to the fight, good luck to both guys.
