I don't think the rehydration clause is that bad. It's being used to attack Tank, but I think the tougher term for Ryan is making 136lbs amd not so much weighing 146lbs the morning of the fight.

Ryan is already going to be weakened from having to cut pounds in order to make the 136-lb catch weight. Adding a rehydration clause on top of that is just Gervonta seeking to gain every possible advantage physically come fight night.
Every physical advantage? Ryan 5'10 with a 70 inch arm reach, I guess he's supposed to be able to come in as a junior middleweight, too. Seems like you want Ryan to have EVERY advantage.

He fought at 140 once his entire career, he said after that one fight that lightweight is the division he's most comfortable. He didn't seek out the fight with Garcia, Ryan wanted him. Then there shouldn't be a problem, he knows what division Tank fights in, stop crying and man up. If he feels handicapped then fight a real 140 lber, but I guess he doesn't want that type of work.

Both of these hyped fighters will make loads of money regardless of who is winning, like a win-win situation. Its a big business. Tbh I don't care about these PR/marketing artifices. It's all hype to attract the hard earned money of the viewers. Its a big cash in for both fighters and it worth the risk for both.

This era of boxing is all about protecting the 0, hyping, cherry picking, inactivity and big cash in/out.

It’s the combination of the two that is excessive.

A 136-lb catchweight AND a rehydration clause on top of it. I want to see two healthy guys go at it.

I don't like either of these turds, but I hope CRYIN Ryan knocks this yellow, woman-beating coward out cold. If he's so concerned about weight, why was there no rehydration clause for the Barrios fight at 140? Barrios was a massive jr. welterweight

                      Tank with the Pu**y move.

He thinks he is more better than Ryan. That Ryan doesn't have the dog in him. So if he is so much better why make that pu**y move. Now if he beats Ryan he will get less Credit. He is already fighting someone who is not the top Light weight, then add some handicap to the fight.
