Your analysis makes a lot of sense Kev, I agree with you on this one.

If he can safely make 135lbs then there should be no problem come fight night what he weighs. He should keep his trap shut about him being P4P best , he's making a fool of himself at this stage and losing a lot of support.

I thought he has said that he's moving up after the Loma fight. I guess he has weighed his chances at 140 and is having change of mind because the advantages he's enjoying at 135 won't be there. That's weak of him.

He wants a normal fight at 135?

          Great. Let's see it.

Zero chance Davis agrees to fights anyone worth sht that he can’t compromise first. If this fraud beats Ryan it means nothing for boxing. He’ll remain a fraud and continue cherrypicking.

He's willing to follow the same rules as everyone else.

He's saying no to a catchweight before Tank even demands one.

              Good for him, I say.

How would he be compromising a Jr Middleweight?

148-154lbs is JMW. If Haney is weighing that on fight night, for his LW fights, he deserves to be compromised. Especially if it’s true that he’s coming in at 155lbs, that’s Middleweight.

Dude needs to be taught a lesson for wanting to go in there and wrestle little lightweights.

Yeah he’s such a great guy, Haney the legit welterweight not wanting to give up any advantages at LW. Awesome fighter. Dude weighs the same as Spence and Crawford.

He weighs about the same as Crawford did at 135.

IMO, all we can ask is that fighters follow the rules as they are written, ensuring that a-side fighters are not fighting watered down versions of the fighters everyone else in the division has to face.

I didn't have a problem with Canelo weighing in the mid 170's when he fought at 154. I did have a problem with his weight clauses against Jacobs and Kovalev, among others. All I ask is that everyone follow exactly the same rules.

Some people love saying Haney doesn't have trouble making weight and not a weight bully

                      His own words:

"Obviously, the world knows I have trouble making 135"
