So they are behind Whyte, Chisora....or even AJ? When heavyweight title shots are mentioned...its AJ vs Fury, Usyk or an eliminator vs Wilder. See same for Wilder, Usyk or Fury. They talk about Dubois but also mention step aside. Joyce is happy to continue fighting eliminators. Whos next on the list? Helenius, Charr, Pulev, Parker. Just rehashed fights where Champions fight known name has beens.

Wallin and Sanchez get no sympathy from me. They could be fighting fellow contenders. Or just fight somebody half decent. Guys at that level shouldn't be fighting only twice a year.
They just spend their days calling out the big names for title fights without earning a shot.Comment

In reality Joshua needs 5 more fights with Derek in order to see a real difference (which is something that has a slim chance of happening due to the way this business is), people don't understand that you can't just jump ship and forget all the bad habits you learned with your other coaches and just start with a new trainer. Joshua has picked up a lot of bad habits and even a new trainer might not be able to steer him away from them in 1-2 fights. heck 5 fights might not be enough to take them away.
I think Joshua did learn how to exert his energy different and not gas out as fast ( sure it was with a C level fighter) he looked fresh at the end of the fight which is one of the many things he has had trouble with.Comment

Monopolised? Every belt has been contested for by a mandatory challenger recently.
Neither Sanchez or Wallin are in those conversations. There are plenty of fighters in and around the top half of the rankings that they could fight. Or are they just hoping the WBO candidates pass on their mandatory?
No-one can think these guys should be getting title fights? They've done nothing.Comment

Hrgovic, Dubois and Joyce are all in line right now. Wilder v Ruiz was ordered. They all fought their way into those positions.

I didn't think Wallin v Ortiz really got that far?
His last three opponents have been a joke since he beat Breazeale. He's no divisional bogeyman, he's just not building himself.Comment

Not sure what Chisora has to do with anything. That's all about Fury.
If your argument is that Fury holds up the division then, yes, I'll agree. He went 20 months before fighting Wilder, including negotiating with the other belt holder so they weren't fighting either. Then mucked around for 7 months with Whyte and the WBC over split, and has pretty much taken the last 12 months off save for an exhibition against Chisora and playing his negotiating games with Usyk.
Is there a monopoly on the belts? No, mandatories are getting their opportunities. It's actually an unusually fruitful time for heavyweight mandatories. They've been getting the fights they've earned(however dubious the process might be). WBC might be a slight exception to that but they ordered the Whyte fight and they've ordered Ruiz/Wilder.
If a heavyweight wants a title fight... Build your reputation and fight for a mandatory spot. Too many are doing neither and then complaining that they're being avoided.
