I wish Vergil a full and speedy recovery. It's probably the illness that he had a few months ago, but we don't know.

Hopefully he returns this year, because he's one of the more exciting welterweights.

Why wouldn't they just disclose it right off the bat, instead of the present cryptic messaging? I'm sure people would be less su****ious if that was the case - now he's going to be a target for all kinds of speculation.

The rumor I heard is that Ortiz trains 7 days a week, no rest days. If you do that for weeks and you have two or more training sessions a day of course you're going to get hurt or sick.
