Fury & Warren are LIVID at Usyk

Fury's biggest wins will end up being Wilder which isnt all time great stuff although fun to watch. I dont think he will fight anyone of substance from here on. Usyk worries him as he should but I thought he had the nads to prove himself.Comment

I don't know why this fight isn't happening. It's hard to picture either man as being scared of the other. Both face the best without blinking. This is strange...and disappointing.Comment

People won't like to hear this, but Tyson Fury played Usyk pretty well. He waited till the last moment and then make his demand of 70-30 showing Usyk who was the boss in this negotiation. Fury's got options and Usyk has few options, so Usyk had to accept whatever was being offered to him.
Fury is free of any mandatories at the moment. If the Usyk fight doesn't go through, he can fight Ngannou, Joyce, Joshua, Otto, etc. while earning a decent amount and still keeping the unification option open. Usyk on the other hand has a lot of boring mandatories lined up which will earn him only a fraction of what he will earn fighting Fury even at 30%. Usyk too can earn if he boxes Wilder or Ruiz but the risk is too high and he also has to vacate his belts.
I really want Usyk to win this but realistically speaking I think Fury wins.
It is what I mentioned a few days back, Fury and Warren were playing Usyk psychologically. They were betting he will accept the terms because while Fury had options, Usyk's next few fights are all mandatories, and won't nearly be as lucrative. Add to that, there is always a chance of Usyk having a bad night and looses. Frank and Fury thought Usyk will accept the 70-30, which he did but pulled out due to the rematch.
I do not understand the rematch clause. If Usyk thinks a 50-50 split is not worthwhile, why not get rid of it altogether? Both Fury and Warren seem to suggest that Fury would be OK without a rematch clause. I really hope Usyk goes on to fight Wilder. Dubois/Hrgovic will not even come close to that.
