People won't like to hear this, but Tyson Fury played Usyk pretty well. He waited till the last moment and then make his demand of 70-30 showing Usyk who was the boss in this negotiation. Fury's got options and Usyk has few options, so Usyk had to accept whatever was being offered to him.
Fury is free of any mandatories at the moment. If the Usyk fight doesn't go through, he can fight Ngannou, Joyce, Joshua, Otto, etc. while earning a decent amount and still keeping the unification option open. Usyk on the other hand has a lot of boring mandatories lined up which will earn him only a fraction of what he will earn fighting Fury even at 30%. Usyk too can earn if he boxes Wilder or Ruiz but the risk is too high and he also has to vacate his belts.
I really want Usyk to win this but realistically speaking I think Fury wins.
