Usyk could have fought all his mandatories this year if it wasn't for time waster Fury, Usyk sent back signed copies of the final contract to Fury to pen his name, and he failed to do it. The mandatories are good progressive fights and I would consider Usyk above Fury if he win them all.

As much as I would like to see Dubois have a successful career in the ring he hasn't really rehabilitated himself from the Joe Joyce defeat and he will get thoroughly embarrassed were he to fight Usyk at this point (the sad fact is that Frank Warren knows this too!)

Because it seems that Usyk had agreed to every other thing Greedybelly wanted. He asked for a fair deal on a rematch in return and Fury/Warren's greed got the better of them.
This is it. As Krassyuk said, Fury had a list of demands to which they acceded but "it was the split in the rematch that gave ignition and it just exploded."

Disingeuous of Warren to say there was just one issue. Had they agreed to the rematch split, Fury would then have moved on to the next unreasonable demand and the next until he found one they wouldn't agree. Then Warren would claim "that was the only thing. No list, just one."

This was a plan from the start.

Fury was instructed from Warren to lowball Usyk.

Fury - Usyk has never been a plan.

The smart play for Warren was to make undisputed, then inevitably the belts wouldn't stay unified for long and it would be Warren fighters like Joyce and Dubois picking up vacant titles.
I think if you are realistic about Dubois you would say now is exactly the time to cash out on him. He's not getting better, and the chances are he will get beat before he gets a title shot in the future.

“My feeling is that he wants the fight but he wanted it in Saudi where they would chuck more money at it."

Of course he would have preferred a neutral venue for more money, but he still accepted the Wembley date after Fury turned down the deal he was offered by the Saudis.

“I think Usyk got pissed off, in his mind the 70/30 pissed him off even though he accepted it."

Yes, he did accept it, but that still wasn't enough to get the fight made.

At the end of the day, if Fury had stuck to the terms that had already been agreed by both sides, the fight would be happening. The only person to blame for it not happening is Fury.

Let's see how long it takes to make Usyk/Dubois.

Usyk beats Dubois much easier than he beat Joshua. Daniel is not on the level of Oleksandr.
