Is there any justification for Tyson Fury not doing the fight with Usyk on the 29th? Im trying to think of if there is any way that he could spin this in his favor

The only way is that it’s usyks team that has walked away not Furys team. Plus Usyk demanding 70-30 in the rematch may be a little too high considering Usyk can’t sell a ticket.
other than that it’s mainly on furys sideMikeyMike100 likes this.

He's saying, "you're only worth 30 now, when you're an undefeated three belt world champion, but after I beat you, you'll somehow be worth 50."
Usyk would get 30 in both fights if he loses fight 1 based on split Usyk is requesting, and Fury would get 70 in both fights.
Usyk only gets a better split if Usyk wins the first fight.
You tell me, why doesn't Fury want to take 70 in both fights, if he's so confident in beating the "middleweight"?

That’s the only excuse I can come up with
He’d look much better if he just said I don’t want this fight
I don’t Usyk to make any money off me , just would roll better imoMikeyMike100 likes this.

Usyk is one scary dude! I mean, Fury jumped right in with the hardest puncher in the division three times but he shies away from Usyk? Something has got him very feel.

There was more than enough money in it for Tyson, and a unification as well. He simply has doubts about his ability to win could be the only reason. I wonder if he decided early into his 6-week training camp that he just didn't have the stamina for a high energy fight with a skilled opponent to be ready for the 29th?MikeyMike100 likes this.

The only justification is that, ultimately, it's his body, head and brain at stake and he can do what he wants with them. If he doesn't think a certain amount of dollars are worth it then fair enough. His call.
In terms of who caused the fight to collapse though, it's well and truly him. He's been pushing it for a long time and finally went too far. Even the comment mongs on Facebook are laughing at him.MikeyMike100 likes this.

The funny thing is, plenty of you believed him over Klitschko, Wilder, Whyte, Joshua. You even believed the things he said. He was supposedly the one who wanted to fight everyone and you could justify his demands and excuses.
Finally pulling this on Usyk toppled you over the edge. But it's the exact same Fury he's always been.MikeyMike100 likes this.
