People are missing it's not just 50/50 in the rematch, what Fury wanted was actually 50/50 if Usyk wins and 80/20 in his favour if he wins. This was made clear by Krassyuk yesterday and no champion would accept that.
70/30 was seen as a slap in the face insult, but Usyk still took it even though a lot of people felt 50/50 was deserved
But in your head, if he beats Fury, in Fury's back yard with with hometown judges and a hometown ref, and becomes undisputed champion in two different weight classes, only THEN will he be entitled to half of the split, against someone coming off an L bringing nothing to the table?
yeah, that's not insulting. Why wouldn't someone do that?
That would require Fury to actually compromise. Look at the numbers above. He is ducking, plain and simple. Nothing was ever going to be enough. If it wasn't this, it would be something else. He's literally insisting on giving Usyk more money in the rematch. He only loses money if he loses the first fight. How does that make sense if he's NOT afraid of Usyk.
yeh I feel fury is holding fight up. But fury is a good actor saying usy k is ducking, and bug eyes gappy tooth
I think he was getting far more in the rematch v Joshua though
They would not have known as a guarantee the 2nd was going to be in Saudi when the first was signed with rematch clause. The 2nd fight was made nearly a year after the first

- - Usyk wanted 70/30 for the winner of the first fight.

Yes, Team Usyk asked for 70/30 for the winner, and they would have probably accepted 60/40 as well.
Warren and some posters here were wrongly suggesting that Fury offered 50/50 for the rematch. What Fury actually offered was 50/50 if he loses and 80/20 if he wins, which nobody in their right mind would have accepted.
