Why wouldn't Usyk take 50-50 in the rematch?

Also don't say "he deserves more because he has 3 belts" - it means nothing financially

Usyk will find out how much his belts are worth when he fights Dubois for a few million. Devin Haney has 4 and will probably fight earn a few million at best too.

Usyk should have accepted. That rematch was a fair deal.

Usyk should make $1m at most for fighting Dubious

There is no money in him fighting anyone but Fury.

    Even $1m sounds steep! LOL.

      30% is $24m.

That's is what Usyk is worth...and 70% would net Fury $50m.

Usyk shouldn't evem break $1m to fight his mandatory. Who is watching that? Casuals don't care. I don't think it will get made and Usyk will get stripped.

Usyk shouldn't be hanging around in boxing messing with heavyweights. It will catch up to him very very soon. That aura of unbeatability shouldn't exist on a man who beat Chisora & AJ. Two doss pots.

Usyk wasn’t a champion when contracts were drawn out so he had to comply with most of the negotiations and he was a mandatory which required him to take the split he got . Usyk also had to fight in the U.K to get the 50/50 split in the rematch ,if Fury wanted the same deal it would be 50/50 because that’s where they are fighting and Usyk is the unified champion anyway . Lol

The reverse split if Usyk won was a counter request to Furys ongoing low balling , also Fury was never going to fight Usyk without a rematch clause no matter what Warren tells you or Fury shouts on social media that would be the last minute ploy they used to put the split they wanted in .

They should make a web site called boxing for dummies and if they dud most of this forum would be on it a lot is my guess ?

Fury beat Klitschko more than 7 years ago. Outside that that he has nothing but Wilder and Whyte.

But his fans are talking like Usyk is some nobody begging to fight the guy that has been dominating the division for the last 10 years, lol.

So funny how it used to be Fury saying he doesn't fight for the money and now his fans are asking why Usyk doesn't just take bad offerings.

yes but i just think usyk profile is very high now especially after his last great results and his career really, he is a serious operator near or at the top of the p4p rankings too with belts, he deserves a better split with greedy belly i think, its a big event and the guy has earned his stripes, he deserves more than 30%, just my opinion at the moment

Just accept the fact that Fury's antics are the major contributing factor 'For this fight not happening'.

You don't have to stop defending Tyson Fury, but maybe just for yourself 'You should definitely consider it'.

Deathoftheclown, you know all the answers to the questions you are asking. Be honest with yourself mate.

You are not asking these questions, because you want to know the answers 'You full well know the answers'.

You are asking these questions to create a narrative, that defends Tyson Fury's stance, behavior which are the main factors as to why this fight did not happen.

Tyson Fury is not afraid of Usyk, but for whatever reason 'I don't think he is that enthusiastic about the fight'.

But I will say this? The fight is bigger now than it has ever been 'Beyond the Undisputed titles, the fight has a story and theme'.

Fury for me has deliberately turned himself into the heel 'And it has made this fight a bigger event'.

All this ^^^^^^^^^ to justify his nuthugging and searching for things that are nowhere to be found
Fury doesn’t want it and that’s ok also but let’s not try to reverse the cycle that Usyk is scared or some dumb chit like that
This is not a first and definitely not a last , many more fights won’t be made
