Why wouldn't Usyk take 50-50 in the rematch?

Why wouldn't Usyk take 50-50 in the rematch?

He did v AJ and he was holding 3 belts for the rematch

Also don't say "he deserves more because he has 3 belts" - it means nothing financially

Usyk will find out how much his belts are worth when he fights Dubois for a few million. Devin Haney has 4 and will probably fight earn a few million at best too.

Usyk should have accepted. That rematch was a fair deal.

I think he was getting far more in the rematch v Joshua though

Usyk already agreed to Fury's immature 70/30 split for the first fight. IF Usyk WINS, then he's the Undisputed Champion of the World! Good lord, man, that's worth something in negotiations. Any fighter that challenges him has the chance to then become the next Undisputed! That's a big deal in boxing (minus Fury, who shat his pants at the thought of fighting for it).

right or wrong he obviously feels his profile has risen since the Joshua fight.

And, now that he has made a few bucks, there is no desperation causing him to cave in to every demand of the other side.

How about stop making a big super star from Fury? His last win is Chisora.

Joshua was much bigger name before Usyk beat him twice.

Fury has the biggest attendance in European history, over a quarter of a million people tried to get tickets but there was only 94,000 on sale

AJ hasn't sold out any big stadiums since before the Povetkin fight. There's always been empty sections and tickets available. He cant even sell out an 18,000 capacity venue next week

So you're talking garbage with all due respect. You listen to Eddie Hearn too much.

When a fighter does something that embarrasses even his most ardent fans, expect a lot of threads trying desperately to excuse whatever it is they've done. Most recently Tank's BS catchweight & rehydration clause and now Fury barking loudly then proceeding to tuck his tail and scurry away.

well the more i think about it the more i come to the conclusion that usyk shouldnt have even taken the 30% which is a very poor offer for him after beating joshua twice and having the belts, let greedy belly just do his stuff and both go their separate ways at this stage
