[QUOTE=Rebelrbg;n31782082]
The rematch issue was done weeks ago with both agreeing to not having one, only for it to be placed back in, then accept 70/30, and now accept the AJ split on the rematch, when Usyk wasn't even a champion when that contract was negotiated. Stop with the excuses for this bullshxt, and realize that they want to break Usyk mentally before Fury will ever accept the fight physically. Usyk says no, he's not taking the bully treatment, enough concessions have been given.
Usyk asked for 70/30 rematch clause in his favor, for a rematch in England. Fury agreed to 50-50, same rematch clause Usyk had with Joshua. Usyk said no.
How is that "Fury trying to break Usyks mind"? Usyk would stand to make 30 million or more with a 50/50 rematch split. He wants 70/30?
Fury said, how about no rematch clause, and also agreed to 50/50. And he is in camp.
People just hate Fury because he is Fury.Last edited by Theshotyoudontsee; 03-22-2023, 01:09 PM.

Time for the mandatories. The big plan that Warren and Hearn have been working on to split the belts up and get Joshua the IBF ahead of fighting Fury looks like it's not going to happen now.
Dubois and Hrgovic are no real threat to Usyk. Joyce is a more interesting match up. Fury v Wilder next anyone.
Or is this all part of the promotion still........

So here we go again. Fury will dig up another contender, or worse, Wilder. Usyk will face his mandatories which means he'll be stripped at some point or show-up a quart low in about a year and get edged. Its all for naught.

You can’t spin this situation
Fury obviously didn’t want the fight … simple as that
As soon as usyk agreed to the 70/30 his arze fell out . He’s holding the belt hostage basically
Warren is so predictable is unbelievable, how people still fall the bs is beyond me

I am actually glad Usyk walked away from fury's crazy demands, 70/30 is a robbery when you have 3 champions belts on your waist, and got 50% from his last fight with a much popular boxer AJ. Time for Usyk to defend the belts and make his money and for cockehead go fight chisora for the 7th time..
Its a wrap.Last edited by MrShakeAndBake; 03-22-2023, 01:34 PM.

Appears Bob is negatively influencing him to do dumb shit.
He has Fury looking weak and scared to fight Usyk when he clearly isnt.
I was really excited about this fight.
Originally posted by Frank WarrenTyson publicly stated that we should scrap the rematch, this was to simplify the deal. Rematch clauses can be very difficult and Tyson’s been there before when a rematch blocked a fight with him and Anthony Joshua [in 2021] when Deontay Wilder took him to court. That kyboshed that fight with Joshua.
Anyway, I convinced Tyson to take the rematch [with Usyk] and he did. So I told them on Sunday we’re gonna go with the rematch. Then we got into a situation with how the rematch money is gonna be split and that’s what we’ve been working on… Why can’t it be overcome if he wants the fight? We want the fight, why can’t it be overcome?… There’s no reason for this fight to be off.
Originally posted by Frank WarrenYou know why they want the rematch clause? Because it’s two paydays. Where are they gonna earn the type of money they can earn fighting Tyson twice? They aren’t gonna get that type of money to fight Filip Hrgovic, Joe Joyce or Daniel Dubois. But Tyson brings a lot of money to the table, that’s why they want it.
We are willing to take the same deal as what they did for their rematch with Anthony Joshua. I know what that deal is so we’ll go with that, no problem with that.

So this tweet is trustworthy, but Usyk's tweet in response, saying he didn't ask for a rematch clause and he's already signed off on everything is NOT trustworthy?
I forgot Tyson Fury was the textbook example of truthfulness on here.
So um, yea, hihi! lol

Again, this is why boxing sucks. Rather than making your mandatory the obvious choice the people want to see, they have to go through the rankings, even if the guy right below you is total garbage. It's just a, let's make some money while we continue to stretch out the negotiations for the fight the actual public gives an F about. So damn stupid. It's a time waster, can ruin the actual fight people want if the mandatory wins, and in this situation, allows the one guy to age further out of his prime (Usyk).Rebelrbg likes this.
