I just don't like some of the stuff Egis has been coming out with either, it also sounds like he could move the goalposts too.

It does not have to be 100% one way or the other..

I haven't liked the things coming out of the Fury camp in terms of making this fight. I truly believe Usyk wants it. Egis on the other hand sounds like he might not be 100% sure

Let's be realistic, the UK isnt the biggest place they can monetise the fight, the middle east is IF fury can reach a deal with them. As much as Usyk himself might want the fight ASAP, it wouldn't be absurd for his management to have one eye on still trying to get it on in Saudi somehow where they will make a lot more money. Same goes for Fury.

That's why I feel there's so much delay in announcing it or it still may not happen. Fury and both teams behind the scenes might be feeling they're leaving big money on the table if they do it in the UK.

They're all in the business of making money, both teams. You don't think the representative on both sides are not thinking "are we really gonna to rush into this at 6 weeks notice when there's still potentially much bigger money elsewhere" ?
It's clear as day to me what's bothering Klimas and Krassyuk.

The fight was originally supposed to take place in Saudi, with a 50/50 split. For whatever reason, that didn't happen and the location was switched to Wembley by Fury's promoters. Fury then said that in the UK, he is the draw, so Usyk had to accept a 30/70 split, or no fight. Usyk agreed to that.

Now Klimas and Krassyuk are saying that if the date and location are switched again, then the purse split should also switch back to 50/50, as was originally agreed by both sides.

That's not moving the goalposts. That's saying that if the goalposts are moved again, then they have to be moved back to their original position, otherwise the game is off.

I don't see anything wrong with that at all.

Okay, but do you actually believe Fury is scared of Usyk?

Either way I hope we find out soon

I just can't see it happening in April. I'd like to be hopeful but it just barely seems realistic they're gonna fight 5 weeks as of next weekend. Sure they can shift tickets in a day but still..

still no confirmation at all apart from Fury breaking his silence about the split and rematch clause and a couple of videos from Usyk. That's all we've got. Warren tries to seem positive, Krassyuk doesn't seem so.

People seem to think its happening just because Fury is with Sugar Hill now. Doesnt mean anything, he could fight Charr on April 29th and still have to be with Sugar Hill

We have also seen 2 videos posted by Fury on Instagram confirming that he has started training for a fight on April 29th and will have no problems being ready for that date.

It's possible that both sides have decided that not doing anything to publicise the fight, or even confirm that it's going to happen, for now, is the best way to publicise the fight, if you get my meaning.

Because these orgs are rogue agents who care about money. Anyone can get stripped at any time. The winner of Fury Usyk won't be holding them belts for long...although I'd expect the winner Fury in this case to vacate all the belts post fight and kiss Usyk on his sweet tender lips and sail off into the sunset together.

So this tweet is trustworthy, but Usyk's tweet in response, saying he didn't ask for a rematch clause and he's already signed off on everything is NOT trustworthy?

I forgot Tyson Fury was the textbook example of truthfulness on here.
