That kyboshed that fight with Joshua.

Anyway, I convinced Tyson to take the rematch [with Usyk] and he did. So I told them on Sunday we’re gonna go with the rematch. Then we got into a situation with how the rematch money is gonna be split and that’s what we’ve been working on… Why can’t it be overcome if he wants the fight? We want the fight, why can’t it be overcome?… There’s no reason for this fight to be off.
Warren indicates that Usyk and his handlers have been pressing to get a rematch clause set down - because of the amount of money involved.

We are willing to take the same deal as what they did for their rematch with Anthony Joshua. I know what that deal is so we’ll go with that, no problem with that.

Except Fury was the one who put the rematch clause in already, and then objected to his own rematch clause.

        So far we've seen:

        1. Fury demand such a big purse that Frank Warren said they wouldn't make money even Usyk fought for free.

Usyk response: Said he would fight for free if it made the fight work.

        2. Fury demand that if the fight couldn't be in Saudi Arabia that it had to be in England.

        Usyk response: Agreed.

        3. Fury (or his team) demand that there be a rematch clause.

        Usyk response: agreed.

        4. Fury demand that Usyk take the low side of a 70/30 cut, which personally I think is ridiculous for a "B-side" that owns the Ring, WBA, WBO, and IBF belts, and is an undefeated former undisputed champion.

        Usyk response: agreed.

        5. Fury demand that the rematch clause his team asked for get scrapped.

Usyk response: you asked for the clause in the first place, just sign the contract already.

        Fury response: Crickets.

Then we could look at character. How many times has Fury "retired" by now? He lies repeatedly. He's already done the same kind of things during Joshua fight negotiations, and scuppered that fight also. He said he'd fight AJ for free and then made huge money demands that even the Saudis wanted no part of. He did the same thing with Wilder and basically every other fight.

In contrast, Usyk has never ducked anyone. He's fought every title fight on the road. Can you name one other boxer in this era who has done the same? Can you even find something that Usyk has said that wasn't true?

It's absurd that anyone can be delusional enough to take Fury's part on this. And I called this weeks ago.

As predicted, the Gypsy Fraud is running away again. The clown has had 2 credible opponents, one retiree (who he ducked a rematch with by getting on the nosebag and calling it mental illness) and then protected fraud punchers-chance #bumsquad. Oh and he danced like a girl in the WWE ballet pantomime. what a hero! What a legacy! P.S. Denium quieten down now sweetheart, you're getting way out of your depth with all that insecure smack talk.

But the truth is they wanted 50/50 then when that didn't jive, they wanted 60/40 with 60 going to the winner. OWNED.

Usyk agreed to AJ too. A-Side gets rematch clause...welcome to boxing. The fights off now because B-Side is making unrealistic demands of a rematch clause. OWNED

Pretty standard for a B-Side to take 30%. OWNED

Well, first time for everything. Usyk is a duck. Fury beat Wilder on American soil. Fury beat Klitschko on German soil.

            Rematch clasuse, he's lying. OWNED

"The rematch clause was just the point where it all exploded". The split of the rematch was the breaking point in a long series of negotiations that have been characterised by Fury making demands and Usyk agreeing to them in order to make the fight. We've seen there is a limit to that.

After Usyk had agreed to Fury's demands for a 70/30 split, he obviously wanted a fairer split should there be a rematch. Usyk asked for that. Fury refused. They walked.

And if you believe that Usyk fought one day in the army, then you really are a gullible fool.
He went straight back to Ukraine from London when the Russians invaded. He enlisted in the Kiev defence regiment and was given a uniform and a rifle. At that time the Russians were about 10 miles from Kiev. Usyk was ready to fight if the invaders reached his home city.

He's a ducking fraud, and it's crazy that people still defend him and think he's some kind of A-side hero. This is textbook ducking. Make impossible demands. Doesn't work on Usyk clearly. This is the guy who has fought for every title on the road and never ducked anyone. How many big fights has Fury ducked now?

Fury never wanted the fight, at least not for April 29th. As he's done multiple times before he focused on lying to the public and wasted everybody's time.

It's baffling to me that all we know is supposed 70/30 Fury split....and many assume that's all there is to a contract. So far it's all hot air coming from Usyk's team.
