Since TBS is cancelling Power Slap, Dana has more time to focus on boxing now.

Unless Dana is gonna take all that money hes kept by cheapskating his ufc fighters and signs every mid level to top boxer, hes gonna find out that its a different beast. He wont have a monopoly on fighters like he currently does in mma, the belt orgs are corrupt af and managers and promoters are sneaky and crooked too.

I honestly do wish boxing was monopolized like the ufc. We'd get the fights we always wanted, thered be a top notch fight damn near every month too.

Dana doesn't have the money to attract fighters in the current climate.

Boxing doesn't work because too many people are making too much money from big reputations rather than big achievements
It's not like most sports where the better you are, the more you earn. In boxing you earn more by having people want to watch you fight.

Why would any successful boxer want to sign up with White who would offer them less to fight the toughest guy they can find.

I don't mind the different belts, unless it's really too much.
I always liked these long, drawn out announcements.... He's the, WBO, the WBC, the WBA, the IBF....... UNdefeated, UNdisputed champion of wooooorld

There just should be a clear path for challengers to fight for the title and champions should automatically be held to a Fight or Vacate policy.
            No long, drawn out negotiations
An algorithm could automatically calculate the purse split based on previous performances, current belts, previous sales, expected sales, venue and other factors and this can't be contested.
If a champion refuses to fight the legitimate 'next in line" challenger they'll automatically lose their belt.
If a challenger refuses to fight he will be dropped on the ranking list and can't challenge for at least 2 years.

Just a naive simplification of course.... There are enough options, just no willingness.

The only guys going after the big fights in boxing are already many times over millionaires. Exploitation….Bwhahahahha! No chance. Nobody is that ****** to sign with him. And the way this guy behaves towards fans, the press and anyone that criticizes him... if you already hate boxing promoters, wait till this guy enters the field.

And the best fighting the best? That is a myth.
He has favorites who will be totally protected, lose 5 times in a row and next will be fighting for titles and more deserving ones will never get a shot.
And God forbid you are not exactly his favorite and lose a fight. He'll immediately throw you under the bus in the next press conference and try to get rid of you. He will kill careers.

                    Best vs best
Here are a few that he never made because of greed and/or favoritism

                    Fedor Emelianenko vs. Brock Lesnar
                    Georges St-Pierre vs. Anderson Silva
                    Ronda Rousey vs. Cris Cyborg
                    Ronda Rousey vs. Gina Carano
                    Jon Jones vs. Francis Ngannou

This <insult inserted> guy has insulted boxing and boxers on a regular basis, you seriously think he is coming for love of the sport? Boxing is still a huge money earner and he wants a piece. He can p*** off.

This one quote from him says it all “The UFC creates more middle class rich fighter's than boxing, that's a fact, it's just the top end where fighter's don't earn Saudi blood money that boxer's earn today.”

Boxers are paid s h I t period end of story. If you aren’t headlining you’re paid garbage. Boxing PPV is a joke, the model is a joke, the belts are a joke and the promoters in boxing are far worse than what Dana ever was. Top UFC fighters fighting boxers are already millionaires many times over. They do so, yes for the nice payday but I also believe for cross sport legacy. Otherwise boxers would do it in reverse (jump to UFC under UFC rules for a mega fight). You don’t think a AJ, Fury, or Wilder UFC fight wouldn’t take in millions and millions? Of course it would. You don’t see the average UFC fighter living in poverty as you do boxers. They certainly aren’t jumping over to boxing because they already receive a 6 figure guaranteed contract.
