It's a long waiting game for Jaron Boots. There seems to be no end in sight. He's still not ready for prime time.

Nothing is straightforward in this sport. Eye test is there, availability of opponents, premiere network backing, yet fans have still nothing to look forward to from the Boots camp. Unbelievable.

None of them have been active at pbc/showtime.

I can't remember the last time any of the top dogs over there fought twice in a year.

I guess Tank is breaking the cycle next month with his 2nd fight in the same year

SHO/Ennis should be on the HBO-GGG formula, fighting 3-4 times a year and gradually building a following until he can no longer be ignored. In my theory, everyone would be yelling for Spence to fight Ennis or drop the belt.
Showtime to broke for that right now. Maybe after the merger

For an established star fighting once a year isn’t too worrying, it’s far from ideal but I can understand why it happens.

However, for a rising prospect/contender it’s inexcusable, Boots should be fighting at least twice but ideally 3-4 times a year.

It's a depressing situation for the so-called rising star. How can one become a star when he's rarely seen? It's impossible.
