If this fight doesn`t happen on 29.04., it does not have to happen at all.

Big whoop. Nothing is stopping Usyk's team from planning a backup fight in the event Fury does chicken out. Prematurely threatening to end the fight because Usyk's team got their ego hurt is a sad excuse to go back on the deal they accepted. It's a bs excuse and they should only be making important information public rather than their petty grievances.

They've never been in a position like they are now. To me, it look likw Klimas is positioning Usyk to exit easily. Hiring UK lawyers to make a deal, he's stalling. Only person Greedy Belly had a problem with making a fight was AJ and I think it's pretty clear AJ didn't want it. Jmo...

Klimas is hiring UK lawyers to get a better deal. I heard/read something about them not liking a rematch clause or something.

Once again, Paul Malignaggi's quote comes handy: boxing is full of shìt.

Even as a HUGE Usyk fan... I was wondering that as well. Maybe they see Fury as unlikely to be at 100% in shape in April? Let's face it: Cardio and activity is Usyk's biggest advantages. He sure does not bring a power, size, or arm length to the fight over the massive Fury. If they get it in late April, Usyk and his team may see that as their best avenue to offset Fury natural size and strength. I do think Usyk is slightly better technically, but neither fighter really has that as a clear strength over the other. Both have shown the ability to adjust to their opponents strategy.

If this falls through, I am bummed it will not be Joyce as the back up opponent. DuBois is fine, a serious and respectable fighter. But since being smoked by Joyce, it feels like a serious step down from Joshua, Fury, or Joyce.

Stop being blind. Usyk isn’t the one looking to exit. It’s Fury and his team throwing every demand like Usyk is some scrub like Wallin or Chisora and not a 3 belt, unbeaten champion in his own right. Fury’s got a UK fight, 70% of the money, he wants a no rematch clause and whatever other shît he and his promoters are putting in there.

Fury bottled the Wlad rematch twice, fought Wilder 3 instead of AJ for undisputed in the richest fight in history (Wilder would have taken step aside money and fought the winner, nobody turns down millions for free).

It’s clear to everyone except blind Fury stans that Fury doesn’t really fancy this fight.

Usyk accepted the date and the comical lowball split, how many times does Fury have to pull this kind of nonsense before his die hard knuckle dragging fans call a spade a spade.
