Such a ***** move by Tank. He’s fought guys at that weight with no catch weight and clauses.
This is nothing like Floyd vs ODLH. That fight was at a higher weight because the fight was for Oscar’s title at 154. Floyd still came in light with no restrictions. He wasn’t compromised.
The other things like who walked out first and the money split were because Oscar was a huge mainstream star at the time while Floyd was mainly known by boxing fans.Comment

Yup, if Tank were a real fighter, he’d let Garcia fight at an unlimited weight, while he alone fought at 136. At least thats the logic you see being bandied about.
Fact is, BOTH fighters have to come in at this catchweight. If it favors Tank, then thats because he is the naturally smaller fighter, and they are competing in different weight classes at the time (one lightweight one jr welter). Ergo, you use a catchweight between them. Pretty simpleComment

He was put into a hard spot. He has to accept the terms for the fight, even if it's to his disadvantage; or, he doesn't like the terms, doesn't get the fight and then has to deal with the backlash of pulling out of yet another fight. Don't really care for the guy myself, but we all know damn well that if he hadn't accepted the terms, plenty of posters here would complain nonstop about him not wanting the fight. They were rightful to give him **** before but this case not so much.Comment

It amazes me how many people DONT UNDERSTAND boxing.
Boxers are SUPPOSE to fight for their TITLES.
Tank should be fighting for other titles not a guy who has none. When was the last time he fought for titles?Comment
