Some of this pre-fight buildup stuff is entertaining but Garcia needs to move on here and not spoil what should be a great fight. He accepted Davis terms and conditions to make the fight so ..roll! ... I think it's just mind games to get under Davis skin, but there should be no excuses !!

If tank was confident he'd let garcia balloon up to 160 pounds!

Or simply fight him exactly as everyone else at 140 does.

You signed for it, I don't want to hear it. We know the guy is a snake and seeks every advantage he can possibly get.

a true fighter has no fear, no qualms. Imagine the clout tank would get for smashing garcia at 160.

Difference with Canelo, is that he was using a catchweight while defending a belt. Catchweights are fine for different sized fighters- just dont enforce them with a belt that is tied into a specific weight class

Yup, if Tank were a real fighter, he’d let Garcia fight at an unlimited weight, while he alone fought at 136. At least thats the logic you see being bandied about.

Fact is, BOTH fighters have to come in at this catchweight. If it favors Tank, then thats because he is the naturally smaller fighter, and they are competing in different weight classes at the time (one lightweight one jr welter). Ergo, you use a catchweight between them. Pretty simple
