Did Tszyu purposely eat this shots because Harrison did not have power or is his defense lacking because he is focusing on his offense?
I believe this is where he will be tested and may lose when he faces someone who he needs to be honest against.

Harrison a shell of his former self. Doesn’t really tell me all that much about Tzyu’s chances against Charlo. “Man who beat the man” NA here.

Tszyu is the real deal, and is a more difficult opponent for Jermell than Castano was.

This was the obvious result though, as Harrison was stopped a few times before, and is a jaded fighter now.

It was not the Tony at the first fight with Charlo. He's taken quite a fair amount of punishment since then. If this is it for him in his boxing career, he had a really good one.

And actually I do have a problem with a Latino fighter picking another one just because of race. Just like when Fernando Vargas picked Andy Ruiz to beat Tyson fury just because they’re both Latinos. The only one victimising himself with irrelevant examples and corny comebacks is you. Just sit down kid, stop embarrassing yourself.
I don't care about the examples you gave. If you have a problem with a latino picking or wanting a latino to win just because of his race, then that's your problem and only yours.

You're the one who brought up racism out of the blue into this thread. You could have kept it boxing related instead of talking nonsense about racism like only an insecure man with a victim mentality would.

By doing so, you have exposed yourself as someone who doesn't even know the difference between tribalism or sectarianism and racism. Go check the definition of racism and you will at least learn something today, kid.

Tim looked great. Excited for the charlo fight now.

Think he’s not neat enough with his defence though. Seemed to hang his chin out and bring his hands back a little slow. Charlo is the guy that can counter you heavy, and if Tim carries the high output then Charlo gonna have plenty of chances.

The fact that he took this interim fight and how he performed is a great sign though. He’s a genuine contender now.

But like the person I quoted said blacks only cheer for blacks I've known That being born n raised in Oakland California that was clear to me since day one.

Cheer and betting are two different things.

Unlike black folks Latinos, Asians don't always cheer for there own they'll cheer for a black fighter because American media has labeled blacks and Caucasian athletes as the heroes and everyone else the "outsider".

Again Latinos and Asians need to wake the **** up and yes some have but a lot still are brain washed.
This and danightmare7's comment is the mentality that sets humanity back maybe 100 years or more.
Sure, we all have a sense of pride based on our background and many of us do support a fighter based on how we can relate, nothing wrong with that, but you're basically saying a Black person rooting against a Black boxer is a sin. Sounds like you're the one that needs to wake the **** up if you're still living with that 1800s mindset.

This type of mentally and logic only causes more separation and racism. This is the same logic that some complain and say others are racist for doing it, yet it's okay for you to do, huh?

But, hey, it's your life and if you're good with ignorantly limiting yourself and not thinking for yourself [because that's the way you were taught], you do you. Just stop trying to set others back - others that see beyond color, race, etc... and aren't trying to go back to the logic that caused separation between 'Colored People' and 'Whites'.

Tim showed absolutely nothing special last night. If anything, he just proved to me why this will be a less difficult fight than Castaño for Charlo.

Harrison was basically a one-handed fighter for the entire fight, yet it took 9 rounds for Tim to actually do something significant and he was wide open for the right all night - something Charlo can easily expose. Harrison was able to connect with his right (the few times he actually threw it) but his lack of power made a difference in those moments.

I hope Tim's comment about "beating the man who beat the man" was just self-motivation - if he truly believes that was the same version of the man who beat the man, he's in for a very rude awakening. It can also be argued that Charlo wasn't at his best the night that Harrison beat him based on the rematch where Charlo completely dominated and knocked out a better version of Harrison than the one-handed fighter that 'jabbed' (not fought - he just jabbed all night) this time.
IMO, Castaño vs Tim would be more evenly matched [than Tim vs Jermell] but I'd slightly favor Castaño to win based on what I've seen from both fighters.

Kudos to you man.
I actually didn't pick Tszyu to lose bad. I was thinking that it would be close with Harrison's skills getting him a split decision. I'm very impressed with Tszyus toughness and composure with a lack of big fights experience. He clearly beat Harrison down from round 2
to the knock out. Anybody that said Harrison was off needs to change that to Tszyu was on.

Tszyu showed improvement from Gausha fight! I didn't think he was ready for Charlo, but now I do! Tszyu still gets hit too much for me, but he's tough, and his pressure is relentless! Great fight, and Harrison for a good test for him! Charlo vs. Tszyu should be a good one!
