Struggling to see where I was sentimental lol....Perhaps reading comprehension isn't your strong suit. I am saying that Harrison genuinely believed he was better and throughout the build up he was never disrespectful, but banked his whole career on one win (where he could have lost) as a logic of being levels above.

Apart from trash talk, name one boxer or any elite athlete who doesn't believe he can beat his opponent?
I can name you many who SAY they believe they will win, but actually BELIEVE....only a psychic knows that one.
I can name many fighters who don't appear to have enough faith to take fights or show a good degree of uncertainty of the outcome so they avoid them altogether...Last edited by damned1974; 03-12-2023, 02:09 AM.Comment

Tim Tzsyu does not use the jab unless he has someone hurt. He is solid fighter but he can't just beat everyone on the ropes to win. He is a one range fighter that is physical and has good pop. But when plan A don't work will he have a plan B to fall back on. They were banking to fade but Tony was not there to fight. Must of been paid good AU$ to not fight the left hook was there all night long or day long.Comment

Sad to see the same folks who picked Tim to get schooled are now creating a different narrative like he's flawed, he doesn't move his head, he can't punch, Harrison is shot etc instead of simply giving Tsyzu the credit he deserves. He is a damn good fighter and a very ambitious one at that who by the way I said will KO Harrison 'cos he will carry him too fast and take him out late. At least this forces most of you to revise the narrative that he gets whitewashed by Jermell after seeing his performance tonight. Jermell should be rightfully favored but Tim has a great, great shot to spring the upset. He brings heat, he's relentless and he's heavy handed.Comment

I 100 percent agree with Tony Harrison's statement and view. I also ALWAYS 99.999999 percent of the time pick the black fighter against every other race they fight. The only time I won't root for the black fighter is when that black fighter is a sellout and a total embarrassment to us black folks and even then, I just won't root for anyone. Call it racism all you want, that just the way it is. Other races root for their own, but when black people do it, we are racist, smh.. In nature most animals stick with their own kind, lions with lions, elephants with elephants, buffaloes with buffaloes, so I"M STICKING WITH MY OWN KIND and will always root for my own black people against ALL OTHERS. Anyways good job Tim Tszyu, even though I rooted against him, he did his thing in there. He still gets my respect as a boxer.
You know, MLK would be turning in his grave if he knew 50 years on from his death there's still people like you spouting your nonsense. If you were in the military fighting alongside white and latino guys you'd have a different viewpoint.Comment

And yes, 154 guys fighting each other in the last 8 years clearly means it is the better division.Comment
