  • These articles would be a whole lot better to read if they did the fight breakdown in chronological order instead of backwards. Start with the first round , not the last one.

I like Tszyu and respect his willingness to fight anyone. I like the way that he fights too , like a killer robot, constantly coming forward. That's not going to work on Jermell though. He needs to use the jab more and work the body. One thing that surprised me last night is that Harrison kept moving the same way and Tim never adjusted to it. When Harrison would move along the ropes , he'd take two steps to the right , then come back to the left. I kept waiting for Tim to catch on and he never did. I would have had him throwing a right hook to the body where Harrison was going to be . That would have landed every time, or eventually made him stop sliding along the ropes. He could have done the same on the left side. Overall though , he looked good, but I still think that Jermell has more wrinkles to his game. It should be a good fight.
Harrison should probably look to fight Hurd and/or retire. He's an old 32 and 154 is heating up. I don't see him winning another title and getting beat up to add a name to up and comers resumes isn't good for anyones long term health.

    • I said b4 the fight that I think Tony was being very dismissive of Tim and was overlooking Tim's work ethic and his progression as a fighter, as well as being dismissive of Gausha by asking, "who has Tim fought to be here?"I saw from the way he beat Gausha that he'd be a problem for anyone. And anyone who really thinks Kostya Tszyu doesn't teach and train his son privately, is crazy. You can easily see his dad's influence. I believe Tim says his dad has nothing to do with his training, so ppl can continue to underestimate him, which is definitely what Tony did.

      • Well, I’ll tell you this much, Tzsyu is now the favourite in the Charlo fight and as long as I get -200 or better I’m putting cash down.

I bet on a fighter to win and you're going apeshit over it. You're fucking nuts.

Why would you want to see a defenseless fighter take punishment when they're basically already unconscious ? That's the stuff that ends lives or leaves guys in a hospital bed wearing diapers.
I could understand if the guy was a rapist , or murderer, or just a horrible piece of s h i t but there's no indication that Harrison is any of that.

And yes, 154 guys fighting each other in the last 8 years clearly means it is the better division.
147 is a giant waste of talent and potential. Guys are throwing their primes away.

                  • Tony legs looked shot. Might be time to hang it up. Tim looked much better then he did last time I saw him but I still think Charlo is a bridge too far but he had to take that opportunity.

Kostya Tszyu lives in Russia and Tim lives in Australia. I don't know if they have issues between them or what , I find it odd that Kostya has only attended one of Tims fights, his first professional fight. Who knows ? My father never watched me fight either , it was stressful for him , my mother did though, she'd be screaming for me to " kill him"...lol.
