Not interested in this anymore. I made threads about Ennis and it's clear to me where their course is heading. The big money fights are no longer available the fact that no big stars are being made. Only recourse is to become one just by being active.
To me it's not so much about who you fight, but fighting once a year, oh man, thinking about it just pisses me off. There are many, many boxers in this division standing on line for stay busy fights, but for some unexplainable reasons, they choose to sit around and do nothing.
Honestly, I don't see anyone beating Crawford at 147 right now, Spence, Boots or otherwise. Bud only loses if he goes up to 154 or age catches up with him.
The rest is speculation by people who don't know. Fight isn't a done deal until the A-Side says it is. Like Tank/Ryan.
Until Spence puts it out, it's not a thing, and with Crawford, you still can't accept it until the ring walk, because he's already shown willingness to walk away from the table at any moment when sketchy money is flashed nearby.
No guaranteed money is sketchy.
Ain't nothing sketchy about 10 million dollars guaranteed
BLK can’t deliver for fighters. Look at the AB farce.
They are not reliable, Showtime, ESPN etc are.
Not all money is good money.
With all we know about Broner, we're going to place unreliability solely on this upstart? With Broner being the model of consistency and reliability and all.
Whole bunch of people on here saw that Ennis was Spence's mandatory but Spence wasn't willing to take the fight. So they bizarrely tried to deflect by claiming Crawford was ducking and should reach out and offer Ennis a fight. Now it turns out that he did just that and the same people finding something else to complain about.
Ennis signed with Showtime and they have failed to get him a single worthwhile opponent despite all the PBC welterweights being there and Ennis even being mandatory to one of them. If he wants to stick with that instead of facing Crawford it's up to him but ffs stop always blaming Crawford no matter what the facts say.

It was handled very amateur’ish. Boxing has had many of these cowboys trying to hustle their way in, we had it with Triller 2-3 years ago. Look how that ended. They never last.
A young fighter like Ennis needs a network that can consistently deliver for him. He would’ve been a fool to potentially burn bridges with Showtime to gamble on a venture like BLK.
If Boots was confident, he’d take that fight, grab the belt and be back at Showtime. Hell Ortiz turned Em down 2 times. What I’m the world is happening to our sport?
I wouldn't consider that "DUCKING" something that fans just throw around and label every fight with
Where fighters mess up is that they get too caught up with this "Clout Chasing" or whatever they call it now, trying to win over and impress fans up until someone call their Bluff then it becomes "Oh I Have An Exclusive Deal"
Espinoza somebody, can we get Boots vs Blair Cobbs in Philly! Only make sense! Cobbs been running his mouth begging for that one, even approached Boots in person. Cobbs is a Free Agent so lets go sign him up and throw him in!
