I'm telling ya Matias is different his chin, conditioning, workrate, power is too much for anyone at 140lbs. Literally anyone!!. He drowns you.

    Regis will take a beating.

Ponce will be back he's a very good fighter who can give anyone at 140lb not named Matias a hard long fight.

I can only respect his approach. The fighter has to be okay with this, if not they can always go to a different trainer. But it's hard to find people with integrity that care about the fighters like this trainer.

Matias's chin and strength will probably get him to championship level. I've noticed that the chin lasts only so long. Example Hurd. Look out Figueroa. And some of the other indestructibles. But Matias is quite a fighter. No doubt about it.

This trainer is solid af! No backpedaling or anything; this is why I do it… it’s a hierarchy. Kinda trainer who knows his man!

Stoppage was a joke this is boxing. He wasn’t hurt he was coherent he wasn’t even wobbled and the trainer threw in the towel. That’s not courageous or heroic

Ponce was really unloading some firepower in those early rounds but Matias weathered it and started to really unload his arsenal. Better to stop too soon than too late, Matias is a punishing hitter and we've seen first hand what the consequences can be. RIP Dadashev.

I believe that Subriel "El Orgullo de Maternllo" Matias, can beat the other champion's, as well as the rank, and file in the 140 pound division.
He'll have difficult fight's because of all of the really good fighter's who are part of this stacked division, but he seems to have what it takes to rule the division.
