Lol who is going to watch this interview?? I wouldn't pay to see Conor Benn fight but I'd probably pay to not have to listen to him talk

Canelo’s explanation was plausible. He got a ban regardless, though, as he should have. Rules are rules.

Benn’s explanation is laughable unless you’re the WBC. And he has yet to receive or serve a ban.

How is Canelo's excuse any more plausible than Benn's?

Mexico really does have widespread use of clenbuterol in its cattle industry. And the amounts of clenbuterol in his system were consistent with eating tainted meat.

Ok and you are aware that trace amounts of Clomid can be found in eggs which was consistent with the amount of Clomid in Benn's system right?

How are the two scenarios different in any kind of way?

They are literally carbon copies of one another.

In the UK farmers can’t use clomiphene to produce eggs on British soil. And when talking about his recent diet Conor Benn never mentioned much about eggs, other than occasionally eating egg-fried rice. When he was supposedly eating 34 eggs per week as claimed by the WBC.

Hell, even Benn himself is pissed at the WBC for blaming it on the eggs.

Ok and how do you know he didn't get his eggs imported?

The fact of the matter is trace amounts of clomid can be found in eggs which is consistent with the amount of Clomid in Benn's system.

Just like trace amounts of Clen can be found in certain meats which is consistent with the amount of Clen in Canelos system.

Neither are valid excuses, neither can be demonstrably proven and neither has a shred of evidence to support it.

Yet, you consider one plausible and the other not.

                Why?

                  Ok Dan.

Canelo specifically blamed tainted meat, though. Benn has mentioned very little about eggs and is in fact trying to distance himself from that explanation. Surely you can see some difference in that at least?

I'm not saying that. I'm asking you how do you know? That's the point we don't. Just like we don't know if Canelo ate tainted meat or any kind of meat at all actually.

It doesn't matter if Canelo blamed that or not. He could have blamed it on the flying Clenbutrol monster that attacks people in their sleep, it doesn't magically make it true just because he said it. We don't even have any actual evidence that Canelo ate meat at all outside of him saying it. But yet you consider that plausible for some unknown reason.

Canelo making the claim he ate some meat, that might somehow be tainted with Clen, is literally, categorically, no different or any stronger an argument than the WBC's verdict that Benn's positive Clomid test is due to egg consumption. Are you aware of that, because it seems like you're not?

Where the issue is here is you consider one to plausible and the other not to be plausible which is at worst, intellectually dishonest, at best hypocritical.

Well, I’m sorry to have to disagree with you but I find Canelo’s explanation FAR more believable.

But if Benn can prove that he imported the eggs…and breaks down his exact diet where he was eating 34 eggs per week…and if he actually blames the tainted eggs for his positive test instead of blaming something else? Then I’ll come back to this thread and say you were right and I was wrong, both scenarios are equally plausible.
