Cinnabon fought in 5 straight catchweight fights, I guess that was for everyone else's benefit, huh? What about when he fought little Matthew Hatton at a larger catchweight so that he could be the bigger man, or JCC weight drained himself to a catchweight just to fight him? What about fighting Khan at a larger weight, so that he could bully him instead of facing Golovkin?

What about fighting multiple fights for middleweight at 155, because he didn't want to go up to the full 160 to face GGG in his prime? He waited to age him, and once he finally saw him struggle with Deveryanchenko and Jacobs, now he's willing to fight at 160.

The franchise belt was made for him through a mutual agreement with Cinnabon, Golden Boy, and the WBC. It allowed him to duck Charlo and Andrade for years as he fought in different divisions and GGG 3 times without ever honoring his mandatory unless he wanted to. You pube sniffers will say anything to defend your idol. I don't hate him, I just call out the bullshxt and want to see the best fights.
So you're just going to double down throwing any crap against the wall hoping it sticks lol? Fights like Angulo, Lara, and Kirkland were non-title which are often a pound or two above the division limit. Matter of fact, all those guys had far more experience fighting above 154 than Canelo who started at welter. At the time, haters were saying it was impossible for him to still make 154 but he made it just fine when he challenged for a title vs Liam Smith. And again, it was for the benefit of Hatton. Also, it's funny when haters complain about someone like Khan moving up from 147 to 155 to fight him when Canelo has moved up more weight than anyone from 147 to 175, unlike hypocrite team GGG who brought Brook up a full 2 divisions to 160 yet wouldn't risk moving up 1 on his end for a legacy fight with Ward.

Canelo fought GGG after Derevyachenko? You've got yourself confused with your made up narratives. Canelo avoided Charlo and Andrade for years with a franchise belt lol? At 160, he was busy unifying with the actual top dogs GGGx2 and Jacobs. The IBF rejected Canelo's request to unify with Andrade and Haymon had no interest in sending Charlo to DAZN. Canelo moved up and fought bigger and more proven champs while Charlo and Andrade to date haven't faced a champ in all their years at 160 or done anything to prove they'd beat any of the champs Canelo has been facing at 168-175. Charlo recently rejected a 168 fight with Plant and hasn't fought in 2 years and Andrade ducked a mandatory shot vs the man himself Canelo just to sit out for a year and cherrypick a random scrub, but these are your avoided heroes lol?

It’s funny people but the BS Canelo peddles. David hasn’t done enough but Ryder deserves a shot at being unified SMW champion. Makes a lot of sense! Fact is Canelo rarely faces people he can’t age out and he only fought Bivol thinking he wasn’t as good as he is. And now he wants to drain him to 168. Tha whose Canelo always has been.

Yeah the same names that haven't fought anyone of note as well and are crying out for the Canelo payday. Or he can fight Bivol or GGG or Callum Smith or BJS. The guys Canelo has fought and that were or are all champions.

Benavidez will pummel canelo and it’ll be ugly. Assuming Canelo doesn’t avoid that fight again. As far as stacked resume, I’m assuming you’re talking about level of opposition faced? If so, I’d argue that Cotto, khan and Brook all faced similar if not better levels of competition.

Imagine that fight, visualize it. Squint your eyes and grit your teeth and try to conjure an image of Benavidez "pummeling" Canelo. Canelo is not Anthony Dirrell. Benavidez' volume pressure style could not be more tailor-made for Canelo. Stay in the pocket, straight on line with that big body and see what happens.

Well I do agree the Benavidez screwed himself twice but there's no way Clenelo can beat him. Alvared only looks good against punching bags. Skilled boxers will whoop that ass. He's not good enough which is why he's fighting Ryder next.

Franchise belts, catchweight championship fights, allowing him to pick which mandatory he would face instead of following the rules and procedures, slap on the wrist for doping, and manipulated rankings to avoid the best opponents.

They do these things, while Ginger continues to look worse each fight, especially against GGG. Benavidez knows that Cinnabon is going to duck him forever, so he's finally being smart and controlling his own destiny. He's going to fight all the fighters that Clenelo wouldn't risk taking, and win or lose, that's solid and admirable.
Kinda like Spence running from boots and Crawford
canelo has faced better competition than Spence both charlos and David combined
