PBC should downsize its Roster, too many fighters not enough dates and yeah maybe not enough of a Budget for all those fighters if FOX is out, then again FOX wasn't paying much anyway

the Split doesn't sound like it is about money though but Andy owes Haymon and PBC a lot he was stuck on Bob Arum/Top Rank shelf when Haymon came a long and helped him get out of that situation which allowed him to make history

should go over to DAZN regardless if it is GBP or Matchroom

I am just tired of the whole division. Nobody fights nobody. The worst generation ever.

From what I gather, Andy Ruiz and his father are very difficult to deal with.

Remember Top Rank let him out of his contract because they didn't want to deal with him any further.

After he beat Joshua, Hearn began legal proceedings against him, because he wanted more money for the rematch than he was promised on the contract HE signed.

And now he likely wanted a king's ransom for Wilder.

Andy doesn't Haymon and PBC anything. It was Eddie Hearn who allowed him to make history by giving him a shot at AJ after Jarrell Miller got popped for PEDs.

So Wilder vs Ruiz is not happening then. Probably too much money is being asked on that fight from both sides. This is the result of overpaying Wilder with virtually no return for investors, or should we say from borrowed money hoping for long-term investment, which didn't pan out.

In a way it was DAZN/Hearn's fault when they were spending too much money like drunken sailors. They made it look like the size of the Wilder fights were really that big when the business model was not even about record-breaking PPV numbers, but on subscription model like all start up content providers do. Finkel and Haymon thought the Mike Tyson days are back in America and they can pay Wilder as much money as he wanted in the guise of investment.

I'm sorry where TF was Eddie when he was Stuck on Bob Arum/Top Rank Shelf in a Contract Dispute? Getting that shot at AJ wouldn't have been possible if he was still stuck in that Top Rank Deal/Dispute

So yes I get it I know it sucks to have to admit because for some it is not the narrative they want to push but YES he was helped to get out of a bad situation with Top Rank which AGAIN is the main reason why he was even available to take a AJ fight. Without that, no AJ fight because he would still be on Arum Shelf Collecting Dust

Adding to this, I recall PBC almost sued him last year when he was scheduled for a fight with Luis Ortiz and instead signed a deal with Triller for a fight in Mexico, which quickly fell apart.

Ruiz only had 1 fight remaining on his PBC contract, so he was gone after the next fight regardless.

Andy bought himself out of his Top Rank contract and he got the AJ shot after sending a DM to Eddie Hearn on Instagram.

"And Hearn admits it was a cheeky Instagram message that ensured the Mexican fighter got his world title shot."

“Once the three positive drugs tests came in, we searched for a new opponent," the Matchroom promoter said. “Someone sent me a direct message on Instagram: ‘I’m fighting Saturday. Give me this fight, I will fight harder than any of the names you’ve mentioned, I will give you a better fight and I will beat Anthony Joshua’.
“OK, that got my attention. We had a look, we saw him deal with and stop Alexander Dimitrenko on Fox and the discussions continued. I’ve found a man who had a burning desire to create history, to create a legacy, and become the first ever Mexican world heavyweight champion.”
