I'm no expert but when I see Canelo struggle for 12 rounds to land even one clean power punch and fail, I have to wonder what Canelo thinks he's going to do differently.

He has the full faith in corrupted judges.

he is a protected fraud and he actually felt like he won the first Bivol fight. Didn`t you see his hand raised before the result?

He's not a fraud exactly, he's a pretty good fighter but without the weight draining clauses and biased judging, there are fighters who will beat him, Bivol is one.

I'd like to see him fight Benevidez, it's a tough fight for both and all things being equal, I'd slightly favor Canelo.

I hope Canelo doesn't fight Bivol again and if he does I hope there is a fair decision. Boxing already has enough problems keeping an audience these days.

lol a Mexican I small talk with every now & then reasoning is

Alvarez isn't a great because he has yet to have a good Mexican rival

I see many big fights favoring Benevidez by the time they happen

            due to age

              Movement isn't all that.

But he's extremely durable, has great fundamentals, and really tight defense. Add his youth, he's not gun shy like GGG became during the Canelo fights.

Bivol is definitely all wrong for a Canelo that thinks he can just be a puncher. Canelo could probably out box him though.

Alvarez has some ****** crazy skills if he manages to outbox Bivol

Alvarez is in the shallow end of great, but I don't think he's skilled enough to outbox Bivol

He doesn't school or destroy opponents in his biggest fights

about an Oscar de La Hoya level great

lacks the skills to be Mayweather great

nor is he the physical specimen to be Mike Tyson or manny pacq level

Alvarez has a by far superior inside game, and defense on the attack..

Bivol is not really skill or skill levels above Alvarez. He just has greater endurance, foot speed, athleticism 'And a better long range game'.

Alvarez skill or skill has a better mid-inside game 'With a more sophisticated defense'.

What makes the match up difficult for Alvarez is his lack of elite level endurance, lack of gears and under-par movement 'Because of this he was not able to apply his best attributes vs Bivol'.

If Alvarez can somehow improve his endurance by 20%, and gets better at cutting off the ring and applying educated pressure 'I would give Alvarez a very serious chance of beating Bivol in the rematch at 175 pounds'.

That is why the fight at 168 pounds, he going to bring the fight back towards Alvarez. What makes Bivol good at 175 pounds, all those attributes are going to be effected at 168 pounds 'The man is already in peak condition at 175 pounds, his main attributes will be negatively effected'.

Bivol isn't even all that. His style is pretty basic. Turns out fighting all those Euro-bums made Canelo look a lot better than he is.

Canelo felt in love with his power punching fighting guys like Plant, Saunders..

If Canelo had a better stamina and a better work rate, not throwing only single power punches, he would have a better chance. But that is a big if.

His style " I am mini Mike Tyson, and I will hurt you with my hooks", obviously didn`t go well fighting Bivol.
