Do you actually think Joshua vs Franklin will be competitive?

Or like me do you think AJ deals with him easily?
I think he probably handles him as easily as Fury and Wilder handled their good buddies Chisora and Helenius.

Franklin looks durable enough to give AJ some rounds and a decent workout without springing any nasty Andy Ruiz type surprises, which I presume is why Derrikk James picked him.

It's a hell of a stretch to go from that to, "Eddie was pretending that AJ was going to fight Wilder next"

I'm not desperate to defend Hearn at all. I just don't like the relentless, non stop bias against him and AJ that I see all the time at this place.
You said Hearn never mentioned Wilder as a possibility. He blatantly did. You were wrong. All I did was google Joshua, Wilder, Hearn and that was the first interview that came up.

How is calling him out on his lies bias? Did he not say it would be a “top 15 guy”? Did he not float Wilder’s name as a possible opponent? How’s that bias?

You’re just desperate to defend him as always.

So you agree it’s a mismatch then. That was my point. Trash fight.

Have Wilder and Scott not been floating AJ's name as a possible opponent too? Have they actually done anything to try and make the fight?

If so, I must have missed it.

It's like Wilder vs Helenius - probably a mismatch, but still interesting, because the favourite is coming off back to back losses.

Fury vs Chisora didn't even have that uncertainty factor going for it. It was just a garbage match-up on every possible level, far worse than AJ/Franklin.

Neither of those other 2 mismatches seemed to get you as wound up as you are now though.

Yeah they pull the exact same sort of BS. I’m not sat here desperately defending them like you do for Hearn though.

Fury, Wilder and Joshua are all full of it, and then Hearn must have some sort of compulsive disorder because it’s just constant bullsh** from him.

              My only points were:
              - Joshua-Franklin is a mismatch.
              - If the Matchroom brass had been more honest about what AJ was going to do next, there would have been far less backlash over Franklin.

I think deep down, you agree with those points but just feel the need to go to bat for your guys.

I hated Fury-Chisora 3 way more, go and check my posts if you don’t believe me.

As I keep telling you though, I was never comparing them, I was just saying this is a trash fight and Franklin is a trash fighter which is blatantly obvious.

So you agree AJ-Franklin is a mismatch then. Because it is, it’s a complete waste of time.

You're not attacking them like you're attacking Hearn either. Nobody is. We all know this kind of talk is just part of the game.

They’re not relevant to the conversation. I only brought Hearn up to explain the AJ-Franklin backlash as he’s one of the main reasons behind it. Why would I bring Wilder/Finkel up when discussing AJ vs Franklin?

Let’s say Wilder fights a complete scrub next, Kownacki or Franklin even and Wilder/Finkel have been talking about AJ, Usyk, Ruiz etc, they’ll get the same sort of backlash from the fans.

Your desperation to defend Hearn is hilarious man.
