It’s all down to casual interest these days and all the “casuals” who only know Usyk for bashing up Joshua twice have forgotten how to pronounce his name by now.

Fury should get the monster share out of this, what numbers has Usyk done in other fights when not against popular brits to earn him anywhere near a 50-50 split especially at Wembley in Fury’s home country.

The reason Usyk done big numbers in his last two fights is purely due to Joshua as everyone tunes in to watch him, also if Bellew and Chisora done big numbers against him (which I’m not sure if they did) It was because they are British household names and not for Usyk.

His team are either very greedy, very ****** or have no intention of fighting Fury at all.

Should be 50/50. In rematch loser gets less, if loser is lucky to get rematch

FYI Chisora has never done anywhere near the numbers he done with Usyk, the issue with the "alleged" numbers with the Chisora is i'm almost certain Sky was selling football (soccer) as PPV at the same time, so the 1.1M will be great exaggerated if that is the case as they'll both contribute to "Sky box office" numbers for the week.

Also AJ's numbers were trending downwards since the Parker fight he's only had the Ruiz rematch and the Usyk fights that have proven to have an uptick in PPV buys, so that in it's self speaks volumes.

Let's be honest here though Fury has done 3 PPVs on prime time UK and only one of them has their numbers released publicly and that was damn near a decade ago, I wonder why that is...

At the beginning of the negotiations Bob Arum and Frank Warren went on record saying a 50/50 split would be fair and had been agreed by both teams. It will be a really bad look for them and for Fury if they move the goalposts now and the fight falls through.

            • he beat Tony in UK
            • he beat most popular UK fighter twice in a row, one time at his backyard and second with millions watching online
Also Usyk has all the belts and Fury was saying it is easy job. 50/50 is fair split unless Fury wants to play it safe. It will be STILL more in absolute numbers than if he fights another noname or old retiring fighter
He also beat Chisora in the UK and sold more PPVs against Del Boy than Fury did.

Usyk is not only well known in the UK, he is also well loved and highly respected for his fistic prowess and funny, eccentric personality.

See my comment above. Usyk vs Chisora sold more PPVs in the UK than Fury vs Chisora. Usyk is a popular fighter over here.

So if Beterbiev to fight Canelo next, do you think he deserves a bigger split or he would get 50-50? We know he wouldn’t. It’s about numbers.

But people don’t really understand it’s a negotiation. Usyk’s team will start at an equal figure knowing that might get knocked down a bit, so why would they start low? Set your stall but know what you’re willing to accept at the end.

If Usyk gets 40-45 to fight Fury at Wembley, it’s still more money than any other fight he can get right now.

Fury’s sold out Wembley last year, he could sell it out again v Joyce or Wilder or AJ and others, considering he did v Whyte and most of them won’t get near 50%. So they’re looking at it wondering why they’re giving 50% of the revenue away to a guy that doesn’t bring as many viewers

That’s where the negotiation comes in and they will probably settle on some split that favours fury if it is in the UK , but more than Usyk can get elsewhere and everyone will be happy.

As much as I like Usyk, asking for a 50/50 split would be akin to Cotto asking for a 50/50 split with Floyd.
Even the immensely popular and global icon, Pacqiao couldn’t get a 50/50 split with Floyd.

It doesn’t matter if Usyk has all the four belts, Fury would be generous to give him 30%
Are you a moron? Fury is not running the show, do you know how boxing works, Arabs are calling the shot, get with the program noob. Fury is lucky to get 50% himself or he can fight Chisora for the 4th time..

                    Arabs aren’t calling the shots

Wembley is booked for 29th April for this fight, or whoever Fury fights

It’s been established for a good week or two that this fight is not happening in the Middle East, hence why top rank think fury deserves a bigger share of the money if it’s in the UK and why a UK venue is booked.

The reason it was because the fight was supposed to be in the new stadium in Jeddah in Saudi Arabia, but now the Saudis can’t confirm that the stadium is going to be ready in time, so that’s why they can’t finalise a date in the Middle East and now looking to London

I see people mentioning Fury vs Joyce.

Joyce is committed to the Zhang fight, and? Most likely Team Fury or Usyk are going to keep these fights negotiations in limbo.

I am of the belief that Tyson Fury knows exactly what he is going to do right now. All of this we are witnessing is all apart of Tyson Fury's dictation.

If the stadium has been booked, then I must say? This is straight forward fight to make.

The only possible reason for stalling the fight is 'That Fury is trying to also line up alternative fights, just like he did when he was in negotiations with Joshua'.
