Canelo must fight Benavidez at 168 or Beterbiev at 175 for bringing casuals back to him.

The fact of the matter bis when Canelo here's the name Benavidez mentioned, he get's so angry he get's cross eyed.
Just check out the post fight interview after his win against GGG (in which he looked worn out), a reporter asked him when was he going to fight Benavidez.
His reply was don't disrespect me (what)? How in the hell was that question disrespectful? The interview was virtually over after that legitimate question.
The bottom line is that not many boxing fans want to see Canelo vs Ryder, but he is in the top ten, and the fight is going to happen, enough said on that.

Now that would've been a fight, and a location for sure!

I'd like to know the answer to that question myself, with only 8 professional fight's he'd be a more dangerous, and better challenger than Ryder.
Morrell would knockout Ryder in a couple of round's, if not in the first round of a fight between them.
Canelo know's that he doesn't have many more wins in his future, so he's going to have to pick his next fight's wisely, as if he were crossing a mind field.
A step in the wrong direction, and boom it'll be over in a flash for him, he's just gotten old, and worn out looking in his last couple of fight's.
It's just not going to get better for him going forward.

This definitely happened, and I was surprised when Jermell was honest enough to call out his brother on it.
Imagine just how angry he must've been at the way Jermall was avoiding certain fight's that his own brother thought he should be accepting.

There is no need to puzzle over it. Simply ask those who asserted that Canelo was poised to fight before a sold-out stadium in the UK and let us know what you find out, Better yet. Cite the sources and the rest of us will also ask these miscreants what happened. Thanks.

I'm not high on the Charlos these days. But Benavidez has been calling on Canelo for a minute. The fans want to see it. You can't deny that the fans or Benavidez want that fight.....more than they want a Bivol rematch.

I think you are right, but how well his wrist surgery heals will play a role in the timing. I don't think Canelo will make a comeback after retirement. His stated goals now are to become a billionaire through his business ventures and increase his philanthropy. Canelo has surrounded himself with some class-A business associates and advisors, including Carlos Slim, one of the richest men on the planet. Let's see how this plays out.
