Maybe but no-one really knows how Morrell would get on against Ryder. Everyone thought Callum Smith would knock him out and he didn’t get close to doing it. Smith hits harder than Morrell too. Canelo’s still got enough I expect for the next few fights. Bivol didn’t hurt him and GGG is still a rock who would still be the biggest challenge for every other MW and SMW out there.

False narratives, PBC offered 100 million for Canelo to fight Charlo then Benavidez, Cinnabon turned it down to go with DAZN. Hearn turned around and offered Jermall the fight under DAZN, of course Charlo was going to turn it down. Why would he destroy his relationship with Haymon and PBC to run and do one fight on DAZN? Also, PBC sent Andrade a contract to fight Charlo, but Fast Eddie tried to go around Haymon and sent Charlo a contract to for 7 million to fight on DAZN . Again, it doesn't make sense.

Firstly, that fight isn't even confirmed, you moron. Secondly, boxing is a business - Thurman fight would definitely draw more eyes than Boots. In no realm can you claim that the rider fight would draw more eyes than Benavidez.

I don’t think he’s “scared” of those guys, I do think he (or at least Reynoso) assessed risk and decided that the risk with them wasn’t worth the reward and saw less risk with guys like smith, Saunders, Yidilgrim, plant and now Ryder. A fight with Benavidez may happen because it’s really the only legit option at 168 and really hope he doesn’t get pushed behind for a charlo or Andrade at this point because the time to make those fights was when they were all at 160. I don’t care much about seeing those fights at this time because those guys haven’t done much since and are in their 30’s with no meaningful wins. Benavidez is in his 20’s and at least is trying to make fights that matter. Charlo and Andrade can go and fight each other.

That's what I mentioned bs mandatory for a bs belt. Well, Morell jr has fought a boxer with a loosing record and has taken three 0 from undefeated fighters, in his first 8 fights, most of the so called elite fighters around his weight weight class are facing that kind of competition after 10 or 15 fights in. He does past the eye test with flying colors. And hearns knew ryder would had have a hard time with Morrell Jr. He didn't have any intention to pitch him against the Cuban and neither bivol. But that was the excuse.
