I imagine he'd like his last few fights to all be big events and from his point of view it probably doesn't get bigger than fighting a fellow Kazak for the world title in front of home fans.
Why give up the other belts though?

All of them good options for your IQ level.
None of those fighter ever ingested a performance enhancing drug in order to win a fight. Your dear husband did - this is the difference.

Because he has immediate mandatories to fulfil. If he was to fight Janibhek after the mandatories he'd be approx 43 years of age and the fight would be pointless.

The belt has no lineage. The only belts that matter are the main WBA belt and the main WBC belt.
Lineage is broken anytime a vacant title is at stake. IBF actually gets their mandatories their shot a lot more often than the other organizations. So I like that about them. Significantly less politics than their counterparts although they still aren’t perfect.

He needs to do the same with the wba belt as well or retire if he is too scared to fight anymore. WBA should not allow this fraud to hold the belt hostage.

A 41 year old superstar who doesn't want to waste his time fighting mandatories for limited financial gain? I'm shocked and appalled. Terrible look, nobody could have seen it coming, nobody I tell you.

Charlo and Doo Doo were both champions in GGG's division and trying to fight him for years and he ducked them, that doesn't sound protected to me.

He's the only fighter they find acceptable to fight? And what's considered "trying?" Being vocal and fighting less than stellar opposition (or even fighting at all), while turning down fights, isn't what I would consider trying.

Charlo was fighting mandatory fights and constantly asking both GGG and Canelo for the fight because he wanted to unify the division, both proceeded to duck for years. Doo Doo signed with Hearn and DAZN because he was promised the GGG and Canelo fights, and they were all on DAZN, so it would be easy to make the fights happen. GGG and Canelo refused, and Eddie allowed it, and fed Andrade anyone that Hearn could get paid on both sides from. Clearly both guys were ducked and it was swept under the rug, as usual when its done by fan favorites.
