Charles Martin was worse. At least Rahman won the title by KO against the lineal champion. Martin only won a vacant belt because Glazkov hurt his leg and couldn't continue.

Wilder's power does not have that type of range. Wilder's power is most effective at long range.

If Wilder is forced to throw his right hand at close range, his power is decreased greatly.

Wilder landed on Fury, because Fury's defense is overrated. Fury has always produces moments of complete calamity in his fights.

Fury for all of his abilities, is for me always on the verge of being decked.

Note: Wilder's power is elite in a specific range, and I do rate him extremely highly as a fighter. I like his aggression, and determination 'Wilder also has a underrated Jab'.
That is incorrect. Wilder right hand is straight last few years and it's even more powerful when it swings, since that generates more force.

          Botha stepped into it.

Rahman also won back the WBC title years later when he was already washed. Technically he won an interim belt and was promoted, but he's recognized as a 2X WBC champion. We all know Martin ain't ever getting a sniff of another belt.

Charles Martin and Bermane Stiverne come to mind. Rahman was a decent boxer. Won both Tua fights for my money.

Wilder's offense and power, does not have this type of range, variation or sophistication.

Botha did not run into or step into the punch. Wilder has never thrown a punch with this type of sophistication.

Wilder has power mate, but at the Top level it has been shown to have a limited effective range.

Broadcast his punches, that is why he is easy to out box and take rounds off for Top level fighters.

Skill for skill Wilder is not a elite fighter. It is his power, the danger element, extreme game attitude and solid enough Jab at times 'Which makes him a elite threat in today's era of Heavyweights'.

I rate Deontay Wilder extremely highly among today's Heavyweights. But I know what type of fighter he is overall, and I am not going to make things up to embellish his abilities.
