I can't say this enough -
A guy will look like Superman if he's fighting bums.
Fury is far from good but even he has a more boxing brain cells than Wilder.
That right hand is so telegraphed and sloppy, one has to ask how the other guy didn't see it coming from last week.
Him and Fury would get brutally exposed in most eras.Comment

Bro you're too generous. "Far from mediocre" would be better phrase.

What’s your thoughts on the fact Toney couldn’t beat a past it Rahman in 2 attempts yet you think Toney would “dominate, destroy and knock out” prime AJ and prime Wilder all whilst neither “land a glove on him?”
I can see argument for him being the worst LINEAL champion, but there have been way too many bad champs with the 3/4 belt era.
Charles Martin, Siarhei Liakhovich, Lamon Brewster (Who Rahman has a win over) Bruce Seldon, Herbie Hide, Sultan Ibragimov, Corrie Sanders (Who I quite liked. but Rahman beat him too)
Remember, Charles Martin only won his World Heavyweight Championship when his opponent blew out his knee in the second round.

Care to explain that one?Comment

Technically skill for skill, Wilder does not have the best right hand of all-times.
Wilder broadcast's his punches way too much, and his right hand has limited variation.
Mike Tyson only needed a mere few inches, to generate enough power 'To blast out Francis Botha'.
Wilder's power does not have that type of range. Wilder's power is most effective at long range.
If Wilder is forced to throw his right hand at close range, his power is decreased greatly.
Wilder landed on Fury, because Fury's defense is overrated. Fury has always produces moments of complete calamity in his fights.
Fury for all of his abilities, is for me always on the verge of being decked.
Note: Wilder's power is elite in a specific range, and I do rate him extremely highly as a fighter. I like his aggression, and determination 'Wilder also has a underrated Jab'.

Yeah, you're mostly right
It's funny how McCall and Rahman are both talked about in this thread as bad, yet they accomplished something that no other heavyweight did by knocking out Lennox Lewis.
Lennox Lewis would easily destroy today's heavyweight division. The only competitive fight for him would be Tyson Fury, but I'm not sure it would be that hard since Lennox was light years ahead of Deontay Wilder in boxing IQ.
Don't count out Usyk, though.
He could give Lennox a hard fight with his craftiness. .Comment
